Attempting to do Stricklake month! Here is my first offering, with the theme Utopia.
Utopia: an imagined state of things in which everything is perfect.
I feel like Barbara and Strickler would imagine everything being perfect with Strickler in a human form. Walter seemed to be more comfy in human form for a while there, and while Barbara and him definitely adjusted their definition of perfect as their love grew I feel like around the eclipse event the perfect state of things would be having a NORMAL wedding. Human to human, just two sweethearts in love.
So I drew this trying to show the imagined utopia vs the reality around the edges. my composition skills are NOT all that great and some stuff doesn’t really make sense, but I am overall satisfied. I gave up on making a background but I think in future ones I will put more time in! Maybe i will even color lines…
