It had been a slow day at B-Side Records, the small record, CD, cassette tape and book shop where Rory worked. Her shift had started almost two and a half hours ago and only a few people had wandered in, browsed around and left without buying anything. Rory was the only one working that afternoon, so she had gotten bored fairly quickly. She had put The Smiths on and the slightly melancholic voice of Morrissey floated through the store. The girl ended up getting lost in her thoughts, only to be abruptly drawn out by the sound of the bell attached to the door. A face that looked familiar had come in. They browsed for a few minutes as all the other customers had before pausing and picking up an album which the studied for a few minutes. Rory’s curiosity got the best of her. “What album is that?” She called out.

Olivia wanders inside the store, gazing through the album collections throughout the store and rifling among the covers with her fingers. She picks up one at random, inspecting the cover and the track list when someone calls out to her. Liv looks up abruptly before glancing back down and skimming for the album title. “Uh, The Who’s,” she answers. “I was just looking at it.” Her mother didn’t play rock music or anything; she played the piano and practiced on it constantly but Liv herself never learned.
