How did Team USA luge star Tucker West react to his dad’s plea on TODAY for young ladies to reach out to his “shy” and “very single” son?
"He was a little mortified," his dad Brett told TODAY.com. "He texted me from the luge house, ‘What did you do?’" Minutes later Brett wrote he was in "so much trouble with Tucker" on Facebook.

Thousands of eligible gals took to Twitter Sunday using the #TeamTucker hashtag offering to date the 18-year-old Olympian, and his Facebook page jumped by more than 2,000 fans overnight.
But “all is now forgiven” and they’re “best buds again,” Brett said after spending the day with his son.
"I’m thrilled he isn’t mad at me. He’s such a good kid," Brett said. "He’s a really great sport about this."
Tucker will start wading through the posts Tuesday before coming on TODAY for a joint interview with his dad.
"It’s been the talk of the athletes, from my understanding," Brett said of the public plea. That can’t hurt Tucker’s chances of scoring an Olympian as a date just in time for Valentine’s Day.
