Those words gave him the confirmation he was looking for - a fact that seemed to make the other giddy with excitement.

There wasn’t any hesitation as the fox wasted no time slipping off the stool and getting into the older, taller man’s space. The coy, mischievous grin curling as he leaned up on his tip toes to whisper into his ear.

“I think both of us know that better than most. Neither of us are like the mortals here are we?” he purred before pulling back to look the man in the face, his eyes only slightly a glow in this dim space, “So, what say you? Are you you gonna ask me nicely?”   

         A full laugh comes from him then, shaking his shoulders with the power of it as he pushes out and away from the counter. Well, he didn’t know how his night could get any more interesting unless one of his uncles decided to come waltzing through the door announcing themselves as the gods they were. Even if that would be entertaining to see.

         “You sound far too over confident, you keep this up and you’ll have more trouble than you know what to do with on your hands.” A huff and he’s scratching the stubble on his chin before leaning forward, just close enough that their noses barely brush and his eyes flash briefly with the power thrumming beneath his skin. “Very well, kid, what’s your name?”

Another for Hades to take away, she supposes, but no matter, her focus is the young woman in front of her. “He didn’t scare you or anything, did he?”

okay, i’m gonna try and be on tomorrow finally. and do stuff on my side blogs, IF i’m feeling up to it. but given it’ll be the 4th AND i’m puppy-sitting… it might get pushed back to thursday. not looking forward to the fireworks.

alright so… now that those starters are out… i’m going to take a bit of break i think and leave my queue on this blog to do what it will and throw out what replies it has, but i’m taking a break from this blog and its side blogs which i’ve been having trouble with anyway… for a few days and will back maybe tuesday or the day after. the most i’ll do until then is lurk, but i’m going to try to not do that and will mostly be on discord which mutuals are free to IM me for.

Tielo offered Dionysus a playful pout when his forehead was flicked. Playing the part of a cute boy scolded perfectly with big blue eyes and lush lips, “Oh the fates must be cruel if I’m to be accused of such a thing. I would never dream of suggesting such a thing.”

He let a little snicker leave him as he turned in his seat to face the man fully, making a pleased sound when the bartender brings two more drinks over. This particular bar had good drinks - lacked the proper ingredients to get the fox intoxicated - but he drank for the pleasure of it regardless. “perhaps your appearance of … experience… is what drew me here. To this spot. But honestly - what’s the fun in a straight answer?”

He snickers and leans in towards him a little, “Maybe if you ask real nice I’ll tell you my name though.Deal?”

           “Mmhmm.. while that could be true, there’s times where it’s the only one that’s suitable.” And by all means, he was all for games most of the time, but he never was much of one for schemers. His brand of chaos came in different forms, but not quite that -- although he supposed drunken debauchery was certainly one.

              When the drinks come, he pulls the flask from his pocket and pours some into his drink before replacing it and then taking a drink from the glass. It was always much better like that, always better for bringing further warmth into his veins.

               “Oh, truly? I would say that you best be careful,” His gaze turns back to the younger looking of the two and his words carry weight that the usual mortal would not understand. “because names carry power, but I feel like you already know that.”
