Hey y'all! I was thinking about making a side blog purely for CL16 and so I did! I got into it after seeing the first Minecraft ARG But The Protagonist Is Tired I think like a day after it was uploaded, but my interest went full force after Kevin's video.

Vitriolic_Red is definitely the odd one out of literally every CL16 protagonist because of the fact she has no lines at all. She is purely shown through her actions (nothing in chat, no signs, nothing in her editing even (though if that is her herself editing the video or simply a way for Oneshef to pace the video is another question)). Her minecraft works is built around her enjoyment. It fits her movement style of the grappling hook and the paraglider. She does trickshots, she listens to classical music, and is overall simply minding her own business. Until she spots the weird cobblestone and infected pigs, in which she shoots and intentionally separates their drops from the porkchops she already has.

What is most notable to me is the sheer fact that Vitri does not log off when spooky shit starts happening to her. Her immediate response is to shoot, to prepare for whatever is going on, and remain cautious throughout. Only when she figures out she can kill whatever is haunting her does her whimsy come back (her doing trickshots, twirling more often). That is so interesting to me because, why not just log off? She could make a new world. Sure it could also be a part of the modpack she plays and isnt wholly aware of, but once things start to escalate, she still sticks through with it. Perhaps she is stubborn. She also completely ignores the Envelopment and its rambling in her chat. She also immediately books it towards the only other thing in the weird dimension she's transported to, and hits it. And after everything is done, she burns her armor, and prepares to make a bazooka (she does however forget to burn the porkchops!)

It could be extrapolated that she generally thinks before she acts. Stubborn, rash, impulsive, but is still cautious enough in her future actions to not completely fuck her over.

And she misses 4 out of 5 of her trickshots. Not sure this is relevant or not, but I find it increasingly endearing just how much fun Vitri has in her minecraft world.

Here's where the bullshit comes in 💥 .

I generally keep her as confident, brash and playful and impulsive because she is sure that it will work out. This is most prominent in the way she's written in Iron Doors. But maybe this also works as a way to keep others at an arms length. This post in particular articulates this line of thought well. Why the name Vitriolic_Red in the first place? It could inform us of her character even more. She is cagey despite her open attitude. She doesn't like it when things can't be dealt with so easily with what she has at her disposal. It's why she's so fed up with Hungry in Iron Doors. She wishes she could just shoot him already.

Other minor bullshit includes her also being on the aroace spectrum, also neurodivergent, and a trans woman. I should really go into the Envelopment as a Metaphor for Conformity thing more. Utter bullshit on my end but it's my bullshit #bullshit. Okay that's all byeeee
