<<BONE>> is Recruiting! [FC/CWLS]

The Children of the Blessed Bone is a Keeper Clan themed FC and Linkshell group, based on the teaching, containment, and–at times–neutralization of dangerous and powerful magicks, along with the witches, warlocks, and mages who wield them. Led by the clan’s enigmatic Prophet, Lho Falahni, the group is always open to those willing to listen to the fates, and help ward off the horrific prophecy brought forth by their leader.  

Located on the Balmung server, <<BONE>> is a roleplay group founded by Keepers and steeped in the strange values of its founder, Lho Falahni and her clan located in the Dravanian Wood. However, unlike other keeper clans, the Children are open to all peoples of Eorzea and beyond, including non-miqo’te.

Our combination FC and CWLS explores themes such as:

magic (of all schools, including grassroots magicks)

occultism

clan-based rituals and rites

horror

(We are primarily based on Balmung, including the FC and it’s house, however you do NOT need to join the FC. We have a Cross World Linkshell that is open to all potential applicants.)

Don’t put too much Weight on RP.

Take a break. RP should not dictate your life. If you find it dictating your mental health, it’s likely a time to take a step back. RP is a hobby. It can be frustrating if people aren’t replying to memes/starters/etc. But remember timezones are a thing, sometimes other people aren’t in the best mental state themselves, sometimes people are too busy IRL to watch the dash, sometimes they have writer’s block. There will be other days. There will be other interactions. People still care about you and your muse(s). Try again later, there is no shame in reblogging stuff from yourself.  But do not guilt people into interacting with you.

At the end of the day RP is a hobby. We’re here to have fun. Don’t let it dictate everything.

Hello! According to the FFXIV census (ffxivcensus.com), Miqo'te beat out any other race as being the most played race. I am curious which class is played the most out of the Miqo'te. Hey people, this is important. 

If you see a genuine new player in leveling roulette, don’t be an asshat and pull more. Don’t pull bosses while they are watching the cutscenes. I don’t care how many times you’ve seen it. Remember when you were new and you saw the cutscenes for the first time. I promise you i have seen it just as many times as you have, that’s not an excuse, don’t be rude.

Let new players who are tanking pull at their own pace, this game’s aggro is way different then many of the mmo’s currently live. Be kind, be patient, offer insight. And if you’re on Balmung and I see it, I will blacklist you. Clearly, you’re the kind not worth talking too if you are rude to new players.

Athenaeum ≪codex≫ is recruiting!

The Athenaeum is an adventuring company that primarily focuses on scholarly  endeavors. We strive in discovering Hydaelyn’s secrets and what was left behind by the ancients. Within our library, tomes holding ancient knowledge and secrets are kept on shelves for anyone’s own use. We wish to share it with those share the same passion as we do. However, powerful relics are stored elsewhere.

On the side, we run a little shop to help fund our expeditions and allow others to relax as they enjoy a tome from our vast collection.~

We are looking for:

Looking for someone to spend those cold, post-Valentione’s days with? Athenaeum’s got you covered!

We got Xaela; we got hrothgar; we got guys and gals and everything in between!

WHEN: Feb. 16th, 2020 at 4pm (PST) // 7pm (EST)

WHERE: Shirogane: W16 P60 - [BALMUNG]

Athenaeum «codex» is hosting their first ever date auction! Though the focus of the evening will be organizing dates with our lovely cast of Sweethearts, the venue will also feature an open bar. Feel free to drop in and relax with that special someone!

Bidding for each Sweetheart will start at 50,000g, with a minimum increase of 20,000g.

All date auction transactions will involve real gil. Please do not bid unless you have the gil on hand! (Bar transactions are strictly IC and do not require an OOC gil transfer.)

All gil raised will be divided between the individual Sweetheart and the housing fund (see ‘Accepting applicants’ section below).

♡ What will you receive for successfully winning?

A date with your chosen Sweetheart! All dates will take place in-venue following the auction’s closing. Follow-up/continued RP after the event is up to each individual Sweetheart; feel free to ask OOCly!

The Sweethearts’ RP preferences and limits will be announced once the cast is finalized (see below). Please bear these in mind going into the date auction; attempted violation of these limits or any form of harassment over these limits are strictly prohibited and will result in a permanent blacklist from any future Athenaeum events.
