Commissions Closing! (last day)
Last day to ask for something. If you want a commission, please message me privately. Have a fantastic day!
Commissions temporarily open
I rarely do this, but I have some free time between semesters (I am not doing Summer semester right now) and need the cash, so I’m opening commissions, if anyone is interested.
$60USD for full body, full color/lining/shading with simple background. Complex designs are extra, cost negotiable. Extra characters are $20 each. Simple props (including things like Pokemon, pets, etc) are $5 extra. More complex or numerous props/etc are negotiable. I do not have the patience for complicated backgrounds at this time. If you'd like a simpler. cheaper commission (no color, headshot, that sort of thing) just let me know and we'll figure out pricing.
Please feel free to tell a friend or two. If you’re interested, please message me privately.

Updates
My spouse's cancer treatments are going well! Radiation is about halfway done, then it's 5 years on a hormone suppression pill. That part's gonna kinda suck, but I'm ready to run whatever support I need to.
In other news, Anime Weekend Atlanta will be in November instead of December this year. So with that in mind, I have given myself until June 1st to solidify the cosplay game plan. But. Unless some heavy inspiration strikes, I'm probably gonna stick with what I've got.
And what I've got is: For the first year ever, not one, but TWO cosplays!
Nikki wanted to be Pomni, so encouraged me to be Jax, and our friend K will be Gangle. The other two friends who usually come to con with us have declined to cosplay at all for years, so no hope for expanding the cast, unfortunately! But Jax will be fairly simple and relatively cheap, and I'll probably only wear that one a little.
Because my main cosplay is gonna be...drumroll please... my favorite Mario character, CHAIN CHOMP. Complete with working jaw. And bark sounds if I can afford it closer to time (I need a programmable sound maker and amplifier). It's...surprisingly complicated for something you'd think would just be a ball with a hinge. And surprisingly expensive. Ugh. Well... hopefully it works out, at least.

Cosplay that I made for my friend, K. She wanted the eyes to light up, so they do!
Making buttons to give away at a Fan Character Appreciation panel I’m running at Anime Weekend Atlanta in December! Jointly designed with @omnicenos-art - I chose and arranged to fonts and she decided colors and accents!
November's Feature Is....
Chandler!
(character by @omnicenos || art by @starlitskvaderart)
Species: Dog (Saluki)
Age: 24
With logical strategy and physical strength, freedom fighter Chandler and his trusty prybar are always ready to lend aid to a team. He's normally friendly, responsible, and personable, but when sufficiently angered or frightened, he will fly into a dangerous berserker rage where he will strike out even at allies. Only his kid sister, Meredith, has ever been able to break him out of his violent trances.
Congrats to omnicenos and Chandler!
It’s far from perfection, but I don’t have the skill sets needed to really excel at this. I think I did pretty well seeing as nothing is sewn (it’s all either modified existing clothing or just glued together), I’ve never built a sculpted foam head before, never made EVA hair before, and color matching was such a nightmare (still not thrilled with the skin color but I needed a specific fabric so my options were limited.) Still, pretty happy with it, all things considered. I hope other people like it, too.
And I finished waaaay ahead of schedule so this will need to sit in a closet for months. Christmas con and all that. But I wanted it out of the way since I’m making a Noelle for my wife and Bender for a friend…so I still have a lot of work to do. Having Susie done means I can concentrate on other things.
It’s not pictured, I should have taken one, but there’s a secret in this cosplay! (minor spoiler ahead, skip if you’re concerned). I went to the trouble of building and attaching…drumroll please…a tail. Will anyone notice it under the jacket? Maybe not. But if anyone does, I’m hoping they’ll be thrilled.

Full costume to be posted tomorrow, finally!
Insert axe pun here.
All that's left is to paint the axe. Then I will put all the pieces on at once and hope they harmonize.
Pants are inherently funny, I don't care who you are.
We have arms now.
