Eddie spent a lot of time with Wayne growing up. Even before he came to live with him permanently.

Wayne listens to a shit ton of country music. (It makes Eddie want to jump into the quarry. He’s a dramatic kid okay? )

He heard a bunch of John Denver coming up. Knows all the chords for Take Me Home, Country Roads”. The entire fiddle part for Thank God I’m A Country Boy. Every lyric to Annie’s Song, Leaving On A Jet Plane and Rocky Mountain High.

Tells people, “He could play, I’ll give him that.” But that’s about as far as his complements go.

Until two very key moments in Eddie Munson’s life

1. When John Denver passes away — Eddie hopes that man rests in peace now and often tells people, “he is the most metal man to ever live” after it hits the news.

2. When Wayne passes away (old age, old, old age), Eddie listens to John Denver all the time. And never, ever makes fun of his music again (unless a song really deserves it)

I can't call this my newest work as it's been in my drafts for 2.5 years. But it's one of my most thought out and my favorites.

I wrote the first ten pages right after season four of Stranger Things dropped. I think right after part two dropped. I was so angry about what the creators did to Eddie and in turn Wayne. They both deserved better and so I was like, "Fuck it. I'll do it" and wrote this.

I just think there was so much left to interpretation about Wayne and Eddie's little family unit, especially as I wrote this before Eddie's book was released.

Inspired by The Devil Went Down to Georgia by The Charlie Daniels Band, this will be a three part collection of works that follow Eddie and Wayne's relationship from the time Eddie is born all the way post season 4 (non canon compliant).

Lately, I’ve been feeling the need to draw or write something, I just haven’t known what.

and then other times as i am consuming a book again for the first time in years - the book is Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion for context purposes

my friend is teasing me because i kept sending him quotes from the book that i really like because this is what i do and this is part of loving me and he goes, "this is gonna be my life for the next 30 days, and 28 days in you'll be writing your own fanfiction about it Eddie Munson was a zombie, he used to-"

i laughed about it but my brothers in Christ it is all i have been able to think about for the last 18 hours

this wasn't supposed to happen but i can guarentee you if i don't do so me world building for the concept the idea is going to haunt me for weeks
