Some people wonder how he is a protagonist. I ask you, how could you not root for Hook immediately after The Crocodile? He, unlike Regina, actually blames the person responsible, therefore he is in the right. He just goes about it in not the best way.

The thing about Killian’s words here is that he never was arrogant about it. He never bragged or used it to diminish Emma. He just felt as the most fortunate man in the universe, and dedicated his life to make Emma feel loved and cherished as she deserved.

And look at Emma in the scene. She is not offended or put off by his words. She is almost in a trance, breathless and open wided. Because Killian is just putting his heart at her feet and I am pretty sure no one in her life had talked to her with such intensity and passion.

On This Captain Swan Day

Season 4 began filming in Steveston and everything was coming up Captain Swan. This was our first glimpse of what would happen next after the epic kiss at the end of Season 3 and this flirty moment raised all our expectations. The finished product in the episode didn’t have much flirting but this image was one of the best of the day.
