His comment brought a smirk to her face. The expression was awkward- Amanda assumed that she had not smiled in some time. “I wish that I could say the same,” she allowed. Bright green eyes wandered to her forearm, which she stroked absently. She knew that under the long sleeves, limbs were adorned with scars. But she did not know where they came from. It was tormenting. “That is an interesting name,” she mentioned a few seconds later. “I’m Amanda.”
THE WOMAN’S EYES WERE BRIGHT but thor was surprised to see that there was SADNESS in them, too - something he had grown accustomed to seeing in people in this place. he was glad to see her smile anyway. “that’s what i’ve been told,” he admitted, rolling over his name in his head. THOR. it sounded perfectly natural to him - but the sheer number of people who seemed to think otherwise was large enough to no longer try and reason with it. “amanda is a lovely name. a normal one probably, right?”
