So some NEWS. I starry the first official working day of my career today. IBEW Local 3 TA-1. I'm nervous but excited at the same time. They next 5 1/2 years are going to set me up for life.

This petite woman in the girls bathroom asked me if her outfit made her look fat. "GOSH NO!" I exclaimed completely taken aback by the question. It's so bizarre how society makes intelligent smart funny beautiful brave women ask silly questions like "do I look fat in this? " The appearance of a woman should be the least interesting thing about her regardless of her weight height or any other physical attributes deemed socially acceptable.

I find it ridiculous that the black community is willing to defend BM who play into stereotypes (e.g. angry black man, acting like thugs, etc.), but they don't feel bad for the hate Leslie Jones is getting because according to them, she makes BW look bad.

Exactly, I just said this in another post of mine. And when you try to explain to black people how they continue to perpetuate this double standard, they don’t want to hear it like…
