How can Black people look at the last 400 years and say God has been good to us? I donāt understand. For a long time I was battling with this but Iām not afraid to challenge Christianity anymore. This shit donāt add up.
You know I ask people why they believe in God and Christianity. Is it because someone told you to? Would you have found him on your own?
When I ask what has God done for you, it really turns out to be things you did for yourself. āThereās food on the table.ā Yes, you work 57 hours a week. āThereās a roof over my head.ā You paid your rent because you worked the hours to make the money. āI have peace.ā Yes, you chose it.
As I get older and wiser, I have more and more questions. Eventually Iāll stop having questions and a decision will be made for good.

My biggest conflict with religion, the Bible and Christianity is the excuses for what happens to children. Children have no faults, no sin, no evil but they are killed? What kind of God is that.
I read a story about a couple who tried for a child for 14 years. They finally had a baby girl in their 40s and at the age of 4 she was killed. Like....it doesnāt make sense.
Spirituality makes more sense than any religion because with spirituality you have to dig deep into yourself past the physical and connect with the powerful energy we harness within, in my opinion people only believe in religion because they fear the unknown and also its been used as a fear tactic amongst millions ājesus christ will resurrectā is the drug that keeps people on their toes and in hopes that with all their good doing he will come and save them whenever he supposedly arrives. Its basically a quick fix to peopleās doubts on the world, nobody wants to do the ground work and spirituality has a lot to do with grounding yourself and being connected to everything the universe has created, if you look deep into it we are more apart of nature than anything else.
Can we be friends!!?? THIS! I turned to spirituality last year and this is the most bliss Iāve ever lived in. Connecting myself with the Universe instead of religion changed my life. Spirituality requires so much work and religion makes you lazy! This life is full of miracles because you can create it. The Universe has done more for me then anything...and itās only been a year!š«
We definitely can, but yeah I stopped believing in religion at a very young age. at some point I did want to be apart of many different religions to challenge them but came to the conclusion that peopleās awakening comes to them at different stages in life and its hard to change the mind of someone whoās been fed so many lies

What clicked for me was God impregnating a woman, but refusing to call her God or make her God. How could Mary birth a God but she's not a God herself. Why worship the birth but not the mother? Why are women not Gods? Sounds fishy.
It honestly sounds like how Black women are treated! Black men are worshipped in our communities and Black women are simply the help?! But who gave you Black men? If Iām ever referring to God, know that Iām speaking on me being a God and every other Black woman. Period.
