Hello there! Hope you're having a good timezone. You can call me Clover, and I use They/Them pronouns. Welcome to my little corner of the internet, where it may mostly be about a certain gunslinger, but I think the theme gave that away.

Pre-war this man clings to you, holds you as close as physically possible with still letting you be able to breathe. Doesn't matter if you're facing him or away, his arms are wrapped around you like a warm blanket. His face nuzzled in your shoulder or a chin resting on the top of your head. I imagine physical touch is one of his main love languages, and he definitely shows it the second he cuddles you at any chance he gets. He'll definitely be leaving small kisses wherever he can reach as well, not being able to contain himself around you.

As for Post-war, it's a bit more complicated. It's usually done in places where he knows for sure you both are out of danger, or at least with his weapons within reach. Most of the time it'll be him on his back with you snuggled into his side, a gloved hand rubbing patterns into your back or side almost absent-mindedly. An old muscle memory to soothe the ones he wants to protect resurfacing for these gentle moments. Another position, although rare and far from frequent, would be holding you to his chest while your legs are tangled with one another. In times like this, he holds you like you would dissappear if he so much as move a muscle, and he definitely isn't letting that happen anytime soon.

How would coop react to that? Like the reader is chill with ghouls, but ferals they can't they get to freaked out

Oh same anon, I don't know what it is about them but I jump everytime.

In terms of how he'd react, honestly the second he sees one charging at you specifically, he's whipping out Don Pedro and dropping them with a bullet to the head. Even though he knows he won't be attacked, you on the other hand are fresh meat to ferals. Afterwards if you're still shaken, he'd gently move to place a hand on your shoulder and check in. Maybe even rubbing your back or pulling you to his side. Telling you that you're safe now and that it won't be hurting you anytime soon. Same goes for any future encounters.

Oh my goodness he would, honestly get huffy about it. Though a deep part of him wants to accept despite everything, but he's gotta a reputation to keep after all. Maybe saying something along the lines of, "You might want to find another Darlin', unless you know what you'll be getting yourself involved with."

Late night thoughts about Cooper/The Ghoul—

Thinking about how soft he'd look at you when you two are alone, or just when yall lock eyes from across a room. His eyes holding so much adoration and yearning once confessions are shared behind closed doors. He may have seen more than two centuries worth of wasteland horror, but he'd never stop looking even if you were the sun itself.

Thinking of how he'd want to hold you forever in his arms if the cruel world would let him. Damn everything else the second your pressed against his chest, almost gripping you too tightly as a way of reminding himself that you are real and alive. Reminding himself he's with someone who cares for him just as much as he does.

Thinking of how'd he'd press soft kisses to your forehead in moments of weakness, when the wasteland digs its claws into you and being strong for too long has left you shaken to your core. Being your strength, your solid reasoning that roots you in place. Keeps your mind from running in circles. A soothing hand on your back, while the other holds your head to his chest to hear his heartbeat. Enveloping you in his scent and warmth that says without words that everything will be alright.

That scene where cooper gets into the super duper mart and just goes wild on everything, drugs drinks you name it. Then he has some sort if self reflection while watching a movie of his past self.

Can we get the reader walking in on Him doing something similar? Them being concerned for him ect

As for the scene, I feel like its quite a vulnerable moment for him to be caught in. Maybe yall are staying the night at a small settlement where theirs's at least one bar. Perhaps he's had one too many drinks and is pretty jetlagged to put it lightly. His mind a mess as he pulls himself to a lonely bench just outside, the night sky shinning overhead as his thoughts drift to simpler days.

That's where you come in, slowly moving to sit on the other side of the bench to give him some space. He doesn't really react much, there's a far off look in his eyes that you can't quite decipher, and you attempt to ask if he's alright, but earn only a soft hum in reply. It's not much, but you realize he might not know the answer to that question for once. So in the meantime, you offer your silent company. Which he'd never admit aloud, would be mighty thankful for.

Does cooper jerk off? Pre and post war?

Hm, I can imagine he would during both, just a matter of frequency.

Pre-war he would only occasionally as he would have his family around, and as an actor most of his free time is taken up by shows and photoshoots. Perhaps after the divorce moreso 🤔

As for post-war 👀 Definitely more often. After so many years of not giving into that vice, he'd give in at some point. Just needing that release even if he's not thinking about anyone in particular, as a way of letting out steam and pent-up stress. Maybe if a certain reader comes across his path, well who knows what could happen~

He'd try so hard to act indifferent or uncaring. Pretending to scan the horizon for unseen threats, but you can occasionally catch his eyes over the two of you like he's going to say something, though ultimately chooses not too. That is until you're away for a few minutes or asleep he tries to make up for it. Dogmeat may not be Roosevelt, but if they come close enough for a scratch or two. Who is he to say no?

Cooper teaching the reader how to clean a gun properly?

Oh absolutely!

I can imagine it's something you bring up one time, and he's immediately just "Alright, but ya' better listen cause I ain't tellin' you twice." Despite a part of him being delighted to teach, though you won't ever hear it from him.

Once yall reach a safe enough location, he'd take your gun or one of his own and go over each part. His hands almost delicate as it's slowly taken apart piece by piece, telling you everything you need to know before he moves on to the next section. His movements smooth and methodical like he's done this a thousand times over. I imagine after this he would insist on getting you a improvised cleaning kit on hand, and if you ask him why his usual reply would be. "Well, the last thing I need is for ya' to lose a hand because ya' didn't keep your gun in good condition."

But if you looked at him as he watched you do those same movements he did, dare you'd say he looks proud.
