The teen was curled up against the wall, staring at the wall across him, focusing on anything that kept him distracted from his thoughts. Something disturbs the silence, causing him to dart his head left and right to find the source of it. He noticed it gradually grew louder and louder, and he realizes that they were footsteps, coming towards him.

He panicked, not wanting to show his face around any sort of person. He darted for the exit, only to come face to face with a red-haired teen around his age.

He stumbled backwards and fell, but he continued to backpedal as fast as he could until he hit the wall with his head. Hard. He whimpers, curling up and whimpering while clutching his poor, poor head.

Yosuke, in a flagrant display of stupidity, decided that exploring the TV World in search of his missing partner entirely alone was a good idea worthy of attempting. While in a sick way he'd expected to be killed or lost forever in search of the leader that had disappeared a month or two ago, he'd found other dungeons, strange locales and landscapes, some he had to avert his eyes from because their mere existence had been almost blinding. He wondered how Souji had managed in this Eldritch world of impossibility.

Something drew him into this particular establishment; a building, tall and wide with innumerable windows, something vaguely reminiscent of a hospital. Once inside, however, it lacked any sort of resemblance; any kind of furniture or decoration had be stripped off and carried out, leaving nothing but broken, grimy linoleum and walls flaking with faded paint. The sound of his shoes scuffing the floor is deafening, and it causes distant shadows to make strangled cries of warning. He readies his kunai, keeping a watchful eye out for an ambush, and continues deeper into the labyrinthine building.

He carves his way through a few weak shadows before hearing very human footsteps ahead of him. Suddenly determined and curious, he rushes after them, fearing that someone may have gotten trapped and hoping beyond all dwindling hope that it was his target. It is the latter.

"S-Souji?" He whispers, his voice harsh and slurred--he pursues him as he retreats, wincing for him as he bashes his head on the wall. He allows himself to laugh, just a little, as tears come to his eyes and a victorious smile stretches across his lips.

"Easy, easy... I'm not gonna hurt you."

Yosuke crouches down so that they're level, waddling across the tile on his hands and feet, squatting like a frog in front of him.

"Souji, I-I've been looking everywhere for you... d-dude, are you alright? God, you look like shit..."
