getting back into media you liked when you were younger is sooo important and sooo special. currently rewatching hxh and i think i watched it for the first time in ? 2018? i was probably 15 or something

every emotion hits so much harder & i understand the characters and the plot much better. i can literally feel my brain expanding. it’s probably because my media literacy is a lot better now at 21 and because i’ve had more experiences (good and bad) LMFAO but i swear i’m enjoying it just as much - if not more - than i did the first time

hq and hxh are i think the only series that i feel this way about. i think they put fucking crack in those shows bc i feel like i’m ascending after every episode
