hey hey! i’ve been a little bit inactive as of late but i wanted to update everyone here — i’ve since graduated college and completed my animation thesis film!

hey guys! necro-ing this blog as i wanted to show this trailer for a film i developed at college :D

as some may remember i began this blog the year i was set to head into college and it followed me into my first couple months.. so this is basically the finalisation of that period of my life, lol. it was a year and a half of hard work, writing, animating, so i hope y’all are open to checking the trailer out for now!

it’s quite heartwarming as an artist, a chinese person an animal lover, etc…, haha. i’m glad that this blog as well as others like it could inspire so many people to take up such a challenge! i wish all people taking on the year of the dragon good luck on their journey!

i’ve honestly missed it myself a little.. maybe i should take on my own zodiac year when it comes around (goat)? who knows..

hi my names duck (i follow from @boyfeminism) and i like to draw dragons! some of them are gonna be far more high effort than others but i am a relatively new digital artist, and ive been looking forward to 2024 because dragons are my favorite thing to draw! inspired of course by classics such as @1-tiger-every-day @onetigeraday @onewolfaday @dailylagomorphs and many others. im using this partly as warm up for bigger pieces, or anatomy practice as i am primarily a flight rising artist.

Heya, welcome to this blog! I'm sure there's plenty of other daily dragon blogs for 2024 because dragons are cool, but hey, more dragons never hurt anyone! (Well like I mean they did in media and stuff but that's besides the point)

Anyway, I'm not going to be taking this blog too seriously, just some fun, cartoony, probably primitively drawn dragons, so sit back and relax!

By the way, I'm always taking requests for dragons, whether it be a type of dragon, a dragon from random media, or a fandom character you want to see as a dragon! (Drop them in whenever, I'd love for there to be a few piled up before next year!)
