I need Blue to be MAD about losing the final championship to Red. I need him slowly losing his cool and getting more upset each time he loses throughout their journey. I need him to act like he’s sure he’s going to win their championship battle but in reality he’s absolutely terrified. I need the realization that he’s going to lose sink in like a weight when Red goes to attack his last Pokemon. I need him crying and screaming and clumsily trying to throw hits and punches at Red, who dodges them, unsure what to do. I need him to tire himself out while Red doesn’t know how to comfort him without Blue rejecting it, and just then Professor Oak arrives to congratulate Red and scold Blue for not taking better care of his pokemon right after he’d managed to stop crying. I need Blue to try to hold himself together to not seem like a baby in front of his grandfather and then I need him to storm off with his fainted pokemon in tow. I need him to be horrifically embarrassed by the whole thing afterward and hide out in his room for a few days while Red gets swarmed with interviewers and photographers. Siiiiigh… I need Blue to be more mentally ill
