au in which kibum is a tsa agent and jinki's a businessman going through security. jinki sees kibum, thinks he's hot, and does anything he can to get a pat-down, which, doesn't exactly go as planned.
Okay, so maybe Jinki didn’t think this whole thing through.
In his defense, he almost always thinks everything through (with lots of over-analyzation because it just wasn’t him if he wasn’t overthinking things) so he’s a bit rusty on the spontaneous acts department.
And, well, maybe randomly screaming after passing the scanner at the security checkpoint to call attention to himself wasn’t a good call on his part in general. He should have just introduced himself or something equally as boring because not only was he probably going to miss his flight, he’s in trouble. At the moment he’s being pinned to the floor by the really hot security officer he’d been eyeing ever since he got in line (which he honestly didn’t mind), arms pulled behind his back (uncomfortable, but still okay), cuffs on his wrists (kinky yet not what he had in mind at the moment), and in a chokehold (really bad).
“Sir, what were you thinking?” the hot security officer asked, a perfectly sculpted eyebrow raised as he manhandled Jinki back onto his feet (well damn, he didn’t look that strong before) and began pulling him towards the substation of the local police department located in the building. As they pass the double doors leading inside, he adds, “You honestly don’t look like the type to be causing trouble.”
Jinki smiles back sheepishly at him, feeling flustered at his act. He could tell people were watching him despite the fact that his glasses were lopsided now and it made the back of his neck heat up with embarrassment. “I wasn’t thinking,” he admits with a sigh, scrunching his nose in an attempt to fix his spectacle problem. “I honestly just wanted to get your attention… and maybe a pat-down, if I was lucky.”
The officer looks surprised at this (Jinki doesn’t understand why though because anyone who looked as good as him probably had people screaming at security checkpoints all the time), pausing for a second to look at Jinki searchingly. “Why?”
“Because your really hot and I’d really like to know your name… and maybe have a date or two… or more…” Jinki replies shyly, face feeling hot even as he flashes another sheepish grin. It’s now or never. “I may have gone about this the wrong way though…”
A few seconds of awkward silence pass where Jinki starts to feel a tingle of regret before the officer is doubling over with laughter. His voice is loud as it echoes through the station and Jinki worries that he’s being made fun of, but the other man is just so gorgeous (and cute, too, especially when he laughs) that Jinki’s own grin widens as well.
“Oh my god I can’t believe this,” the officer finally says, tears in his eyes as he tries to catch his breath. He’s looking at Jinki again like he can’t quite take in what he’s witnessing, but he’s biting his lip as he tries and contains a smile and Jinki is starting to have a really good feeling about this entire situation. “You really didn’t have to do all that just to get my attention. What a clumsy confession from a clumsy guy.”
Jinki is about to protest that notion but his heart starts racing when he realizes he’s being backed up against the counter. His entire body becomes hyperaware of how alone they are in this small space, but he can hear the voices of others just behind the doors that go further into the station.
“Kim Kibum,” the officer finally tells him, and he has this sly look in his eyes that make Jinki’s insides feel like goo. “And lucky for you, I’ve been watching you too ever since you got to the checkpoint, Mr. …?”
“L-Lee. Lee Jinki,” Jinki replies, his name tumbling out of his mouth and throat dry as he swallows thickly. Up close Kibum is even more gorgeous, his skin perfect like porcelain and… was that smudged eyeliner over his lids? He opens his mouth to say something but no words come to mind (Jinki was definitely a goner now).
Kibum, sensing Jinki’s loss of words, smirks brilliantly, his sharp eyes glinting with mischievousness. “Okay then, Mr. Lee,” he begins, low voice barely a whisper as his hot breath ghosts over Jinki’s face. “You’ve been a really naughty boy, you know. I can’t just let you go like this…”
Jinki tries to swallow again, but he can’t. He wonders if he saved a country in a past life because this is too good to be true. “I c-can’t?” he chokes out, chest tightening when he feels the restraint of the cuffs on his wrists pull behind his back. Oh damn.
The officer shakes his head, a feline grin curling up the corners of his lips further. “How about I take you around back for some one-on-one questioning?” He trails a perfectly manicured fingernail along Jinki’s chest, before tracing up his neck and lifting Jinki’s chin. His smile turns feral and Jinki’s heart starts racing so hard that it’s about to vault right out of his ribcage. “I hope you don’t have anywhere important to go because I have… some things in mind.”
Scratch everything Jinki said before; everything is going exactly according to plan.
