The one who read the musical script first after he received it was his mom, he said his mom really liked it first and told him that he had to do the musical no matter what. xD
He said that Muyeong (his role in the musical) is a cool person, so he thought hard how to play this character. He thought hard about how to act as a security service, but since its a bright and free-spirited character, he said, “Wouldnt I suit this character? So I wanted to take this challenge. Since (FTISLAND’s) album promotion is over not too long ago, now I practice even more diligently.”
About his kiss scene in the musical, he said,”I have an image of someone who does kiss scenes well, which I think is wrong. I am bad at it that even at home I practice with my puppies.” (lol poor puppies ~,~)
The director said that Hongki’s casting in the musical was kept secret to the end to make a surprise. :D
Hongki said that he also practiced a lot in between FTISLAND’s album promotion schedules. He would use umbrella in place of sword to practice. The members who have challenged musicals first have also helped him. “But not too much,” he said (lol) He said he mostly only practiced on his own with the script.
