Brushing the scruff on his chin, Bri giggled and looked to meet Charming's gaze. The Fable propped herself up on her elbows, the bed creaking beneath her movements. "You know,... I think you ought to grow your beard out, sugar."
“You think so?” He mumbled, his voice still hoarse from sleep. It was certainly an unexpected start into the day, not an unpleasant though. Hearing her gentle voice or carefree laughter as a first thing in the morning was now a tradition he had grown quite fond of and he couldn’t suppress the peaceful smile that lingered on his lips when he felt her fingers on his face. He considered her proposition silently as he examined her dazzling features in the morning light. He found himself rather... brutish and barbaric looking with facial hair, his former companions in life had made sure to let him know as well.
“If it pleases you, then the hair shall grow” he winked and lifted her hand from his chin to place a tender kiss on the back of it.

“Cute? That is not exactly the term I’d use to describe myself... More like, life-changingly handsome?” He asked in a feigned confused tone. A chuckle escaped him as he tugged at his tie.

"Right, right, your campaign. I didn’t pay much attention to it, sorry. I voted for Miss Snow." Charming probably didn’t enjoy that tidbit of information, but Flycatcher didn’t much care. He had other things to worry about Charming doing— Like the act he had just admitted to.
"You…Lied to them?" He asked, a wounded look on his face. "Why did you do that? Don’t you know there’s fables that have wanted to be human their whole lives? That’s terrible of you!" He began fussing, exasperation in his voice.
"You can’t do that, Mister Charming— That’s not what mayors do.”
„It is what politicians do“he replied, miffed by the accusation he could sense in his voice. Sure, the means he make use of to achieve his purpose would trouble a humble and honest soul like Flycatcher, but that didn’t mean he would let the janitor continue in his ignorance of the world.
“Wake up from your pipe dream Fly, it has always been this way” he mumbled, as if to take the blame off of himself as he absentmindedly looked through the stack of documents on his desk.
“If you are so displeased by that fact then perhaps you should run for a public office too...” he sneered while not sparing him a glance.
