My progress since July!
It has grown about 3 cm since my haircut (July 10) and my bangs are currently 25 cm long (I figured itād be easier to measure my bangs than the rest of the hair).
What I use for my hair:
Internally: I recently bought Cocoa Locks, a chocolate powder full of vitamins that are great for hair growth, and Iāve been drinking it for a week now. Iām looking forward to see if it works on my hair. Fingers crossed!
Shampoo:Ā Urtekram āAloe Vera shampooā
I wash my hair 1-2 times a week and use this shampoo each time.Ā
Conditioner: Sante āShine Conditionerā (bio birch leaf & burdock root)
Every time I wash my hair Iāll leave my conditioner in for about 2-5 minutes.
Treatments: The Innate Life āScalp Treatmentā and The Innate LifeĀ āHerbal Hair Maskā
Iāve been using The Innate Lifeās products for the past 3 months and my hair has never been this soft and shiny before! Once a week Iāll put the Scalp Treatment on my scalp, flip my head upside down and massage it in for about 5 minutes. Then Iāll put the Herbal Hair Mask on the lengths of my hair and keep both products in overnight and wash it out in the morning.Ā
Oils etc: The Innate Life āRose Hair Elixirā, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter and Aloe Vera (the plant and Urtekram āAloe Vera Gelā)
My hair loves oils, especially my ends, they just soak it up. I put oils on my ends at least once a day, sometimes even twice a day, in either the morning or before I go to bed. First Iāll put aloe vera in my hair and then one of the oils.Ā I switch between the Rose Hair Elixir (smells amazing btw) and the coconut oil most days, and when my hair feels extra dry Iāll use the shea butter instead.
Heat protection: Lƶwengrip Care & ColorĀ āThe Heat is Onā
You might have noticed by now that I try to only use products with natural ingredients. But itās not always easy to find natural products that work for you. Thatās the case with heat protection for me, so for now Iām using a conventional one. (If you have any recommendations for a natural heat protection that works great, let me know!). I havenāt beenĀ using The Heat is On for long, so I canāt say how effective it is, but it does smell really good.Ā
Another thing I do thatās worth mentioning is that I sleep with my hair in braids. Sometimes Iāll do one braid and other times Iāll do two braids, to protect it from breakage.Ā
