Aww thank you! I’m doing alright, and I hope you are too! I haven’t been doing much for the fandom for a while now and am unsure of if I’ll continue the OnS Gift Exchange. I’m considering hosting an exchange for another fandom, but either way it’ll be quite a while before I can host anything since I’m quite busy at the moment.
@ikanax0 I briefly considered turning ownership of the exchange to another person or co-hosting it for a few reasons, but later reconsidered for a few reasons. Other than that person, there's no one else I know well enough to trust them with ownership of the exchange. Even if I did, that still wouldn't fix another issue, which is that as the rounds went on, fewer people were signing up, which made it more difficult for me to assign everyone to someone they'd be compatible with and also hadn't already been assigned to for a previous round of the exchange. I know a small handful of people who did seem to genuinely enjoy the exchange and want to see it continue, but they seemed to be in the minority, especially compared to those who didn't seem to care about honouring the commitment to the exchange and to their recipient, or just seemed generally indifferent, which also makes me less motivated to want to continue the event
