hey guys. as much as I hate to do this, I think I'm gonna put this on hiatus. I'm realizing that I don't have the time to run this right now and I think the best thing to do is to put in on the shelf for later when we aren't so busy. but don't worry, oceanfront will be back 🌊

so i’m working the next seven days and then going to england for nine, so I’m not really gonna be around much until the 17th. I will keep up with the comments site until I leave, but then I won’t be updating it until I get back. While i’m in England, you can iMessage me or message me here on tumblr, but I’m not sure how frequently I’m gonna have internet? Anyway, love you guys!!! Also, I hope to be more active once I return b/c my work schedule sounds like it’s gonna be a little intense than it has been.

Hey, guys! So all the new characters (for now) have been posted. I did go through and change the timestamps so that they’d all be in abc order but they I realized that they didn’t show up on the dash as new posts anymore, so if you wanna check them out: here’s the open character tag or I think they still show up first on mobile if you wanna see even the new ones that are taken. (this problem may also just be me??)
As always, I’m up for changing portrayals, etc. etc.

... okay, so this list of two new guy characters to even out the ratios, well, it’s turning into more than just two characters (cue no one’s surprise). Anyways, I’m fleshing out the new characters/picking portrayals and basically if there’s anyone you are dying to use on oceanfront OR if there are any relationships you want that you don’t have for a character, please let me know!!! I will probably really start working on them on friday (I’m actually off all day!! ~throws confetti~), so yeah if you have any requests hmu in the next day or so : )

guys!!! hi!!!! I’m so excited that this is back! I think I missed it more than I knew. <3 Anyway, welcome back (and welcome for the first time to Jenn!). Since we kinda stopped abruptly last year, I thought we could just pick up where we left off, so I dusted off the comments site a few days ago, so that’s ready to go! I thought I’d leave it up to everyone as to whether you wanna start new threads or continue old ones, but I figured that would be a nice resource, either way.

Hey, guys!!
Oceanfront returns in 1 week!!!!! (or to be more precise) So next Sunday is our official opening date, but I am letting Tina make her new sites b/c she has more time now than next week, and if anyone else who has sites to make wants to get them finished early, that’s fine too! (format: oceanfrontfirstname) However, I won’t be posting the new follow list until Sunday, and we won’t start comments until then either.
Everyone is coming back from last year, except for Kate and so we are going to say that both Bonnie and Elaine have moved away (but they can ~move back~ if Kate ever comes back to the rp).
Okay, I think that’s it for now? Let me know if you have any questions, etc I’M SO EXCITED!!! I’VE MISSED THIS A LOT <3

All of the characters have been posted! I’m pretty much finished with the revamp at this point and I’ve settled on May 1, 2016 as our opening date! I’ve heard back from everyone except Kate confirming that they are coming back. So, what I’m going to do (if I don’t hear from her) is say that Elaine and Bonnie have moved away/gone on an extended vacation or something, so that they will be here if she comes back. If she’s not coming back at all, then I’ll reopen them. I may add two more female characters to even out the ratio if they aren’t claimed/reopened, but otherwise the character list is finished. I will, as always, allow for portrayal changes!
I’ve posted info about the events that we were going to have last year, but let me know if you think of anything else you want to be an rp-wide event! Below, I’ve got a comprehensive follow list, as well as the ~info~ post about the places around Virginia Beach.
