Could you please explain the Villain Caretaker AU? I know that the villains move into the house after the Baggs die but are they just cool with Courage now? Will they put their differences aside eventually?

Hi Anon,

Thank you for your questions! I’d be happy to give some insight on the behaviors and motivations of the villains in my stories.

First off, I do want to acknowledge that all of my writing was inspired by c2ndy2c1d’s comic and other art works which started the whole Villain Caretaker AU. I’d like to imagine that the villains were far from being cool with Courage in the beginning, especially Katz and Le Quack. The villains will put aside their differences against a common enemy/threat at times. In the long run, they’ll continue their villainous ways with Courage along for the ride (but after a few death defying adventures. Courage will be off their shit list so no worries there).

A Dose of Filipino Culture

As a show of goodwill during the Christmas season, Filipinos may hang a parol outside of their home or at a window for others to see.

The parol is an ornamental lantern that represents the Star of Bethlehem, also known as the Christmas Star, that guided the Three Kings to the city of Bethlehem for the birth of Jesus.

What makes this tradition so beautiful is that the parol can come in different materials, colors, shapes and sizes!

I got these images from google but I honestly think they are much more awe inspiring up close and personal.

You can either buy a parol or buy the basic materials and make your own at home (instructions can be found online).

For me, seeing a parol during the holidays brings me joy and comfort (plus a lot of reflecting of the past year). I do enjoy looking at them and give my respect to people who take the time and effort to create these wonderful lanterns especially the larger ones.

Inspired by Mushka’s fanfiction “The Health Benefits and Damages of Being an Avenger” on ao3. I think this is one of the best Deadpool phrases/quotes I’ve ever read in fanfiction, and definitely like the author’s portrayal of the characters [definitely a fanfic I recommend reading].

LIFE GOAL: I think this would be cool to make into buttons someday with the phrase painted on the back of the sword.

Right now I’m reading New 52 JL and SMWW (my otp made real!) Really liked the Forever Evil arc so I’m hoping to have time to read FE Arkham War. Other than DC, Deadpool is an interesting read (can’t wait for the movie <3)

oooh not bad not bad!! i’ve got like a list of things i wanna try reading like grayson and midnighter’s solo comic but i hate going out, hopefully next time i do i’ll check out deadpool and JL (i still ship clark with lois lmao i’m gomen)

Midnighter series? Cool to know, starting to read the New 52 Stormwatch so maybe I’ll get into that afterwards.

And it’s cool with your ship and I understand since Clark Lois have been like two peas in a pod since forever and I loved them in the 90s tv series. It’s just that if I had to pair them with other superheroes then it would be with each other. Despite people saying they would be too powerful together, I think that is what makes them appealing to me. Not that they can pretty much beat up everybody, but that they have the potential to develop a strong and healthy relationship by being able to be there for the other when facing the next threat and to be there when the other makes a difficult sacrifice and just have this understanding between them when it concerns their duty as superheroes and their desire to be a part of the world despite their origins. And gosh I’m just a hopeless romantic when it comes to these two and I just want it to somehow work out for them in this series, but if not then I would like for the writers to at least show these characters to have a healthy break up where they talk about why they can’t be together anymore but that they will always have the others back [pretty much a bittersweet moment, but also touching].

...haha so yeah I’m just very hopefully for more SMWW in DC’s future.

“Until Our Last Breath” is a Courage the Cowardly Dog fanfiction based on  c2ndy2c1d’s AU comic “ASLEEP”. I tried to write a longer version of this story, but I wasn’t satisfied with it so I just wrote it as a short one-shot.
