i hate saying it "out loud" (through text but still putting it out in the universe) that i dont rly want to be in the relationship that im in right now. bcs itll crush him. he does know im aroacespec but its still hard to be in a partnership theres still expectations for me there on his end. i still want him in my life as a friend or qpp.

my philosophy has always been to be honest and rip the bandaid off bcs its unfair to someone to keep leading them along. but there are so many reasons that it would be a bad idea in this case. i genuinely dont feel safe to.... our situation isnt abusive but he does retaliate against people he gets pissed at. im depending on his family and his family's home. so if he wanted to kick me out of the house he could. also he holds it against his last partner that they broke up with him at a bad time. and rigjt now is still a bad time for him.

i think its awesome that we love ourselves and can have fulfillment from loving ourself and all of us even tho we are distinct and different we all share something so intrinsic so even when we argue its not as scary because we know we are in it together and we share a body and brain. we are connected. in ways that we havent been able to connect with other outside people on a deeeeeep level. and the fear of what other people will do haunts so much of our interactions with others. with our system it is unfiltered and we know we are as safe as possible with ourselves/each other

IMO, blurring the lines between “I’m defending them because they’re right” and “I’m defending them because you’re taking this too far” is step numero uno to cutting down the very existence of fair trial and democracy–even in places where saying that might seem a little dramatic. 

Mob mentality is extremely strong in humans and it’s also extremely dangerous. Mobs don’t think things through. Mobs kill and they destroy and they can’t be reasoned with. Someone trying to calm a mob down isn’t someone defending the ~problematic party~ It’s time we re-learn that.
