Ollie say her grandparent and squealed. “BOOBOO!” She exclaimed and ran into his arms. Hyun knew they didn’t always get along, but the only reason was Hyun needed to be different for his daughter. Otherwise he would happily have joined the villains. He smiles at Boo. “Hey! I’m glad you made it. Ollie worships you. All she’s done is ask about you.” He grins. “I have some good news. I got into Jack Skellington’s good graces and I’ve found a way to sneak you into Halloweentown! It takes you right to your house.”

The Boogie man picked up the squealing child when she ran to them, knowing it was probably an odd site to see them be so agreeable with a child. “Hm,” they made a noise of acknowledgement, making it known they were here only for their granddaughter. That was the reason until they heard that damned skeleton’s name. “How the h-- How’d you do that?” They questioned, mindful of the little girl in his arms that was currently trying to braid their hair.

Irey walked into the room, her nerves at a high because she had a feeling that she should have told her dad about the sleeping curse but kept it a secret. “Are you alright?” She looked at all the potions but only that as she wasn’t one to mess with their things. “There’s…uh…kind of something I want to tell you but I kind of kept it from you. The captain told us not to tell anyone but you have to know this.” Oogie was someone she never wanted to keep secrets from.

Boo was genuinely surprised to know that Irey had kept something from them but they also knew she wouldn’t do it without good reason. “Get on with it,” he urged, not mad but Boo had never been a patient creature. There was much to be done especially now after such a big move had been made. It was irritating that someone had taken steps forward without informing the rest of the villains but they never expected alliances to last long.

Hyun was stressed. He had planned the perfect party for Ollie. He wanted this to be so special since it was really her first actual party. He ordered an ice cream cake and had a superhero princess come. He’d invited Lock Shock and Barrel to the party. The only thing missing was his parent. He hadn’t seen him in forever and he missed him. He backed up a bit to get a better picture and bumped into somebody. “Oh I’m sorry.” He said, turning to see who he’d hit. “Boo! Oh my God I’ve missed you!”

Boo had been forced into going to this ridiculous party by their three henchmen. The Boogie man did not resent their child or their grandchild but he had little patience when it came to Hyun because they had never agreed on much morally. However, the three of them had reminded Boo that a child as young as Ollie would only remember her grandfather not showing up and they purposely played on their soft spot for kids. “Yeah, where’s the birthday girl?” They questioned, scanning the crowd with a present in hand.

Irey woke up from her sleep and boy did she wake up with a bang. She had fallen asleep at her dad’s place even though it was advised to stay on the ship she didn’t want to be there. The memories of her childhood was what plagued her dreams the entire month and it scared her because it felt real. She saw that man, her real father, hurting everyone she cared about from her step-siblings to Will and Maddy. So when she woke up she had to process it was all fake and that none of it was real. She looked around the room and heard movement in the other room wondering if the spell had also affect Oogie or not. “Dad are you there?”

The sleeping spell had definitely affected Boo but no horrendous dreams had plagued him, instead they had renewed his ambitions to take Halloween Town from that egotistical skeleton. As soon as it lifted, he was up and searching through potions he had acquired since arriving in Auradon until Irey’s voice reached his ears. “In here,” he responded gruffly.

He walks over and gets what he knows is boo’s favorite beer and hands it to him. “How would you like to do tonight? Top or bottom?”

Taking the beer, the villain opens it immediately to take a large pull from the bottle. “Ya know I don’t care.” They had no preferences other than their hard rule that they would not act submissive but that was more of a given with their personality.

“I know you don’t give a damn about my trust oogie. I don’t need to be frightful right now. Eventually though, if I need to get my way I can.”

“Whatever, bones. I’m not wasting my time with you.” The villain turned to leave, anger building and he needed to do something to get it out.

He laughs and leads him to his penthouse. They go all the way up in the complex and he leads him inside. “Want some more beer before we have fun?”

“I won’t deny a beer,” he responds, glancing around the expensive complex. It wasn’t his first time seeing the man’s home but he would never become accustomed to the fancy decor.

                  perhaps there was something wrong                   with her , but she tended to have a bit                   of a soft spot for those considered to be                   evil . just look at her past .

“ you still miss it , don’t you ?   inflicting pain on those that   were unable to fight back . ”

“i know of him. not friends or even acquaintances.” boo had just never cared to get to know the god. “if i miss anything it’s the struggle but it’s not your business. ‘sides, i’m just here to start over. same as everyone else.”

“Thanks dad. Hyun has his things though.” Did it make her feel a little better that her father was praising here over her brother? Yes but she knew it was somewhat bad. “You’re really going to take me with you? Wouldn’t those who live there think it’s weird a human is living in their town?” Irey already stood out here for being a VK but she had feeling in Halloweentown she’ll stick out like a sore thumb. It made her smile though at the thought of going with and having a family. “I’ll keep an eye on him for you. Making sure he does what you want him to do. He’s not as villainous as we are but I think he could be.” It was weird referring herself in that way but she knew that she had to do what she can to protect Will if he did something her dad didn’t like.

“Nothing that’s useful.” Boo may have enough mercy within his soul to save the brats that were abandoned by their own parents but as they grew, Boo needed them to prove useful or they became nothing to them. “As long as ya keep earning it, no one’s gonna say shit. There’s way to fix the living part if your that worried about it.” Death was a casual topic for people of Halloweentown. Boo may have a human body now but the minute they crossed the threshold between this world and their home, they would return to their true form. “Good. Help him explore his darker side. I can see he’s got one.” No one escaped the Isle without darkness infecting some part of them.

He held hands with the person and smiled. He liked boo and they were finally taking the next step. He wasn’t really looking for a relationship at the moment, and he didn’t assume Boo wanted one either. But if he did he wouldn’t protest. “Yeah a car. Don’t have one. Let’s go.”

Despite having children, none of them had been produced from an actual relationship, Boo was just not cut out for something so mushy. “Lead the way, thunder boy.”

“I can probably not.” He laughs and then grabs his hand. “Let’s go. I don’t have one of those wheelie thingies yet so we’ll walk unless you have one.”

“No walking’s fine.” Holding hands with the god of thunder, Boo wasn’t sure which part was more out of character for the villain, holdings hands or that the other man was a literal god. “Did you mean a car?” They chuckled.

                   gone were the traces of humor ,                    now suddenly replaced with a bitter                    gaze . she didn’t take to being threatened                    kindly . not by anyone , and certainly not                    by those lesser beings .

“figure of speech --- these days, anyways.” harder to get away with gruesome murders when the people in town couldn’t come back from a slip of nightshade poisoning. sometimes boo missed halloweentown too much for their own good. “not dumb enough to attack someone like you either.”

“Me, smart? Yeah I don’t think so. I’m more the sneaky fun one, but I can never turn down good food.” She said as she dug more into her food and listened to them talk. “Maybe I’ll get an acquired taste for it though I can always survive on the candy from there.” She remembered some of the things Salem had mentioned to her of the food they had in Halloweentown. “Yeah he’s one of my best friends. He was one of the people who got arrested. Umm…he’s also dating Hyun.” Irey said the last part in a small voice. She wondered why she even told her dad that Will and her brother are a thing but she said it before thinking. “Why do you want to know about him?” Not that Oogie was bad but she wondered what her father was planning.

“Takes some brains to sneak around without getting caught. Smarter than your brother anyways.” The boy was playing house while Boo and Irey did real work as villains. “Once it becomes mine, I’ll get ya whatever food you need.” Regular humans, not undead ones, needed specific nutrients and all that. If Irey continued to be a good daughter as she always had been, Boo owed it to her to keep her healthy and happy in their future home. “I heard and he works for me now. Don’t give a damn who he dates as long as he does what I need him to.” If the boy started second guessing his decision to join the side of evil, Boo would have to correct the little fool. “He’s told me enough about himself on his own. Just wanted ya to know since you’re close or whatever.”

He nods. “I want to try Halloweentown food. I want to eat everything. I like trying new stuff. And I really want to visit Halloweentown.” He smirks at him. “I have a suite here and we can head there like now.” He says eagerly.

“It’s the kind of food only served in a graveyard. Sure ya can stomach all that?” The villain nods with a wicked smirk. “That’s fine with me.”
