Jayce gets up early every morning for a short reunion at the council room. The first rays of sunlight illuminate their bed and leaves him speechless as he admires his partner being kissed by the sun: his porcelain skin becomes warm, accentuating his freckles, turning him into one of jayce’s favorite images.
He gets dressed and gives Viktor a loud kiss on the hair, quietly leaving the house so as not to wake his child, and sets off for downtown Piltover.
The house is warm and quiet. Today is one of those unusual mornings when the nanny can't come to look after their son, so Viktor decides to take him to the lab, as he can't miss work. He wakes him up with gentle caresses and sweet words, helps him get dressed, and makes him breakfast.
They take the public transport to the lab, sitting next to each other while his son holds his cane because he likes to help his dad in any form. The little boy sits by the window and points out with his little finger interesting things he sees on the streets, filling his head with questions that his father will gladly answer.
Viktor gets off first, careful not to trip, and then helps his son, who jumps down the step, causing his father to chuckle softly.
They walk hand in hand, Viktor's cane tapping with each step.
Shortly after, they arrive to the lab, where Jayce, working on a new prototype, is already waiting for them after his meeting with the other counselors. The door opens and his boy runs towards him, Jayce's eyes light up and a charming smile spreads across his face, revealing the gap between his teeth that Viktor adores. He picks up his little boy and covers his face with multiple kisses, making him laugh. Viktor approaches and Jayce gives him a loving kiss on the lips and cheek, making him blush.
Jayce, with his son in his arms, explains what is scribbled on the board in the simplest way possible, touching the little nose with his finger each time his boy nods.
Viktor looks at them with enormous affection in his eyes, unable to believe how lucky he is to have them both.
