He rolled his eyes at her, leaning against the nearest building. Why he had stopped to comment, he would never know. Oh, right, no one else around to tease. “Ever wonder why we’re here?”

The brunette smirked, “Not really I’m ‘fraid,” she retorted. “Think all we’re really good for is ground fertilizer n’worm food but hey, that’s just my opinion.”

“Maybe. Everything makes no sense in this world.”

“Sure darlin sure,” she replied as she took a drag, her eyes were wandering and it was obvious she wasn’t paying much attention. This guy was about as riveting as a blade of grass.

“Anywho, have a nice day now y’here?”

“And what’s the line between a little and a lot? Depends on where you are.”

“Depends on who ya’re I guess,” she shrugged.

“Same to you and whatever’s going through your blonde and black head right now, sparky. People are weird.”

She pulled a match from the tin and ran it over the heel of her boot to light up. 

“Nothin’ wrong with a lil’weird darlin’,” the blonde took a drag a she paused, “It’s a lotta weird ya gotta watch out fer.”

“Oh fucking hell, why does everyone say that? My hair looks perfectly good. Everyone else has the same fucking style.”

“Sure sugar, whatever ya wanna think bout yerself,” Oona shrugged and pulled a tin from her boot, from which she pulled out a thin cigarette. 

“S’all that matters anyways, ‘parrently..”

“I know what I like and I know a lot more than you, skippy.”

“Sure ya do darlin’, yer scraggly locks sure do prove that.”

“Oh, you’d look good with purple hair.”

“Dang right I would,”

“It could be a thing, it just looks really different than normal.”

“True ‘nuff.. Maybe if I dyed it purple that’d be better or somethin’.”

“Awe shoot, I was really hopin’ t’change things up..”

“Eh, keep it. It’ll look cool once it grows. Gradient is good.”

“Sugar since when do ya know anythin’ bout hair?” she smirks.

“You looked better before. What?”

“Well I just wanted t’try somethin’ out,” she brushed her hair over her shoulder. 

“Don’t mean I can’t switch it back.”
