Lady Sunflash turned out pretty good! I was really annoyed because all my paintings lately were crap and I almost thought I’ll have to stick to flat line art for ever, but then I thought “now or never” and really focused and it’s kinda good!

And it is probably the world’s first case of someone turning male character into female pin up and the result’s outfit being less revealing than the original, wow…

I love this picture, especially those la la legs! But isn’t Sunflash already Lady Sunflash? Or is this Sunflash in traditional “pin-up” style, with gender irrelevant?

Like, I’m trying to imagine this turned back into live body. Would Noel need a corset and false tits? Would the character of Sunflash change any?

These are the questions art leaves me with, being the writer who can’t draw anything.

Well, becauseI’m a big ol’ homo, those genderbent versions are traditionally feminine ladies with hair and tits and hips in pin-up poses. Noel would probably not wear those costumes, with fake tits and a corset or without them, that would just look ridiculous I think ((but who knows, he can pull off pretty much anything…) I guess most of Noel’s characters are pretty androgynous/nonbinary and wouldn’t look, dress, or behave much differently if they used a different pronoun, and I enjoy using the elements of the original costumes in a different way, rather than just drawing the characters in their original forms in those sexy poses. I hope that answers some of your questions.

I started catching up on all the plans for fan art I wrote down in my little notepad but never started! I really hope to start posting more regularly and come up with some new stuff for my redbubble, I also want to finish the Boosh colouring book that’ll be available for download for free or for as much as you want, and more and more stuff… This sketch here is one of the new genderbent boosh pin ups, Lady Sunflash. I can’t decide whether I want to turn this sketch into a painting or a flat coloured lineart…. Let me know what do you think, how do you like her, and what would you call her 😸

Oh My God you guys. If you make digital art do yourself a favour and get this Autodesk Sketchbook app, it is amaaaaahzing and the basic program is free, I installed it few hours ago and I'm having a sketchgasm... As my computer gets older and slower I'm finding sketching more and more annoying, it's a huge part of why there's been so little fanart and personal works from me, I could pretty much bring myself only to do commissions, but with this little app it's a joy and I can easily imagine that I'll start drawing big piles of silly crap again, fingers crossed :D

I've listed a bunch of booshy and non-booshy dolls on my etsy page, there's going to be more, and I am accepting commissions, so any dolls you might want, I'm ready.
