After learning about the Vegas tragedy, I immediately ran to read Job. When he lost everything, he never failed in worshipping God. Why does God allow undeserved suffering? I still don’t fully understand but I’m thankful this world is not my home and because of that, I can trust God’s sovereignty in loss, suffering, and the unknown. All that we have belongs to God and he is still worthy of praise- when he gives and when he takes away. Suffering is NOT easy but I’m SO thankful God is with us in the midst. One day, there will be no more suffering, pain, loss, or tears. We will rejoice in being face to face with Jesus- the one who bore the greatest undeserved suffering.
