They'd better be. What else could they be doing here? Free from the weight of the prophecy, free from... well, everything. A fresh start. Wouldn't they enjoy something like that? And yet, they look like they haven't had a good night's sleep in a week or two. Flowery doesn't enjoy their suffering- they're Asgore's kid, after all. But they're not his responsibility, either. Imagine a Darkner, say, adopting the kid into their home. Now that would be crazy.
"Heh, The Diner... You really are Goregore's kid. No better place to relax and kick your cares away. Especially with The Boys. It's great you have Susie here, the two of you are... well, I'm happy for you. And even more The Boys! I remember when- Hah, well, no point in getting nostalgic..."
He hears things from Asgore, and Kris would come to visit occasionally. As long as they're doing as well as they can, there's not really any reason for him to get involved.
"Hot chocolate? No, I haven't. Flower's don't need a thing like that, do they? Maybe I could've, I was just busy," says Flowery. "You've enjoyed Green's cooking, right? I bet they could've whipped up a fresh hotcoco, just for you, guy."
It takes him a few moments to realize if Kris was doing more than just making idle conversation. "Are you... offering? No need for that, Kris! C'mon, I'm your dad's best friend! His kid taking me out is... that's not how it's supposed to go, is it?"
It's hard to get a read on this kid sometimes. Flowery steps a little closer, leaning down to get a better look at Kris. Of course, they don't look so good, but they also don't look... quite the same as they did earlier.
"You alright, Kris?" he says. "Maybe instead of The Diner... you should just go home. Get some rest. It's been a rough day for you, hasn't it? Wouldn't want Gorey's kid running themselves into the ground."
