Ellie Goulding - High For This (The Weeknd Cover)
Video of the Day: Chris Christie and Cory Booker Team Up
Two of America’s most charismatic and easily caricatured politicians have teamed up to poke fun at themselves: New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and Newark Mayor Cory Booker. The Seinfeld-themed video makes sport of the frequent speculation that Christie is a potential Republican vice-presidential nominee as well as Booker’s extramayoral heroics, from rushing into burning buildings to shoveling residents’ sidewalks.
We won’t ruin the surprise, but it’s worth sticking with it until the end.
In which two of Jersey’s brightest look in the mirror.
Cory Booker is a nice change of pace. As for his policies, ehh, but...
The only person I have to be better than, is the person I was yesterday.
Can you imagine waking up to this? UNF.
Wow.
I thought I was going to post a lot when summer came along.
That's what I get for thinking.
Time to Get Working
I need to:
Unpack.
Study the markets and begin to get my feel for them again.
RUN. I KNOW, CRAZY?!
Make plans with everyone.
Create a semi-clear workout progression plan for the summer.
Work until I hit the bed and I know I have earned my sleep.
What's that, a Karl Lagerfeld reference? Whaaaa
Dear World,
I made a fitness/health/lifting blog. I’m not biased, but it’s definitely going to be awesome, and I would definitely recommend it to you, whether you’re a beginner, advanced, or a professional athlete. It would be cool if a professional athlete followed me. But you’re pretty amazing too, so follow me. Deal? Deal.

I’m gonna reblog this, so sorry in advance.
Just trying to gauge interest...
I'd be interested in making a running/lifting/general fitness blog, for novices, experts, and everyone in the middle. And also, it would serve as a journal on my quest to my first powerlifting meet. Would anyone be interested?
Also, straight A's. I earned this feel.
damn it feels good to be a Celtics fan
In three hours, I will rise. One last final. One more. One.
I never count the days
I make the days count
This song. One more exam. One more battle. Victory is mine.
A few things:
"said she hopes the record will be out October"
It was supposed to be out last year or the beginning of this year. Then this summer. Now, October - what is this, Chinese Democracy? Detox? Seriously.
"Goulding told Clevver News that her boyfriend Skrillex has not influenced her new material.."
TYBG. It's bad enough Skrillex touches her at all, but to touch her music? No. Just no. I would kill.
"Meanwhile, Goulding has revealed that she could move to LA to be near her boyfriend Skrillex."
Junior Seau dead, TMZ reports: Authorities are investigating the 43-year-old former NFL star’s death, which was a shooting that may have been self-inflicted. Details still coming in. We’ll keep an eye out.
EDIT: Here’s a local news report on the shooting. According to San Diego’s 10News, a witness reportedly heard about Seau’s death from police.
Thank you, Junior. When you played, you showed heart, ferocity, and that "it" factor I always idolized. When I was young and foolish wanted to play in the NFL as a kid and late adolescent, you always were one of the few I looked to as a guide.
Napoleon Hill (October 26, 1883 – November 8, 1970) was an American author who was one of the earliest producers of the modern genre of personal-success literature. He is widely considered to be one of the great writers on success. His most famous work was Think and Grow Rich. (1937)
Think and Grow Rich - one of the few things in this world I draw upon for guidance.
I love those moments when the man you are merges with the man you could become and always wanted to be.
