I see you’ve found your way to my blog! My name is Opal or Opi, I am a fanfic account,(though I’m not very good) I write mainly for the otome game obey me! Though I will rarely post about other fandoms I am in, mostly bc it appears most of my following is here for just OM!

This is my main account and I will only ever post SFW stuff here,

UPDATE! some new things I feel are important to put here.

-I will no longer be accepting any prompts that is mixing two fandoms, I unfortunately am not in enough fandoms nor have enough time to go out and research other forms of media for the time being.

-I have turned off anon asks, however plz do not let that stop you from putting stuff in my inbox.

-I will always write only for they/them nb mc unless I am talking about my own mc. That does not mean I won’t accept requests for a she/her or he/him mc.

-I may not write for hyper specific prompts or very vague prompts. But that not does mean I will not attempt it here and there. Again I do not have that vast enough of knowledge nor time to properly write fics/hc’s like that.

-I will write for multiple different characters, however I may not write for thirteen or Raphael, mostly because I do not know these characters well enough to believe I will do them any sort of justice.

-I will not write for any replaced mc stuff. I am unsure of how popular that au truly is, but I do not enjoy it and will absolutely deny requests suggesting it.

My posting schedule is a little all over the place, though I try to be consistent! But there are a few points were I may not post for a while because of life and stuff.

I also draw as you will see sometimes on this blog! If I feel as if a drawing is good enough to post I will, but other than that I’ll prolly not post a lot of art since that doesn’t get a whole lot of attention anyways,

Jkjk, I’m here now, I think this has been the deadest I’ve been in a while aside from a repost or two, but I’m gonna explain myself I promise

These last few weeks finals kicked up, graduation was happening, and I also moved out of state literally the day after I graduated. So I’ve been pretty busy, and it’ll stay like that for a bit since I’m also going to be focused on unpacking and moving furniture, getting a new and slightly better job, as well as finally securing a car.

I do infact have a mini fanfic in the works, and yes it is still for obey me,(specifically for mephisto) so if anyone was worried that I had silently quit after my long post about being disappointed in obey me, worry not you one person! Life just decided to kick me in the ass once more! I still love obey me, but not enough to continue playing IDO or even think about playing the new game when it comes out, I’ve actually been thinking about redownloading the OG game just to replay and refresh my brain on the early lore!

But overall I’m going to try and post and kick things back up, or at the very least work on drafts,

Can I be honest with you guys real quick?

I’m slowly getting more and more disappointed with how content-less IDO is, and just Obey Me in general. And I’m kind of considering dropping it at this point..

Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate all the new sprites and the features introduced.. but really it feels so plain. What happened to the grind?? The little games to play in between each spot of lore?? The fear of Mc not being able to make it out alive??? I’m even starting to miss the nonsense events. And with the announcement of the visual novel, I’ve realized that IDO most likely wasn’t top priority and was just a game to kinda show off that the devs are free from censorship and to announce the new direction they’re gonna try to take.

IDO is just boring, it’s either have waste your time waiting for this thing to fill up to upgrade a tiny bit or go gamble for ugly plain clothes. Once you’ve completed the stories for your selected brother, that’s all you CAN do. It’s just so damn empty compared to the older two games.

Even though I have my own reasons to not like nightbringer, the one thing I felt that it seriously did right was the ruri-tunes, even though the story line stressed me out to the point of not being able to enjoy it, I still found myself replaying the rhythm game and preferring it over the story! And it was SO much better than the stupid “dance battles” from the first game. Ir was engaging and the visuals were fun to look at! And the little chibi sprites weren’t ugly as hell.

But my biggest complaint yet, is that even after they graduated, everyone is STILL. FUCKING. USELESS. Mc- who is hyped up ALL THE TIME MIND YOU- has weak magic, only ever using it for small things and for small moments, then any other time when it would be useful, mc’s magic just has ZERO EFFECT. The game likes to say how big of a deal it is that they have pacts with the seven avatars of sin, but even they are useless! In the og game, when they were still figuring out the characters, I found myself actually and genuinely worried for my mc! Because these men were genuinely over powered and dangerous. Then the events came, then the game progressed even more, and the devs figured out what they wanted to be the brothers to be.. and it ruined them, that gentle anxiety was never there anymore. Sure I felt that again in nightbringer, but it was hardly there, hell I was more worried about my Mc being HOMELESS in the human realm rather than the actual characters hurting them.

I love obey me, and it’s the only reason Opal exists, hell a lot of her personal story is so heavily influenced by the game, I’d have to rewrite her to hell and back if I chose to just abandon obey me completely. And she has been my favorite thing ever for the past 4-5 years, the one OC I draw multiple times nearly every single day.

But Christ is it frustrating. I know everyone is existed for the new steam game, but I don’t think it’ll be any different. I think it’ll just be another nightbringer. Everyone hopes that it will be a turning point, a chance to finally see the brothers be scary! A chance to see some coherent writing! But I don’t think so, the art style change is beautiful, but of course I wish they didn’t make mammon fucking gray. I’ve seen more edits of mammon getting his skin color adjusted instead of hype for the project.

I dunno, obey me has just felt so eugh the more it continues on. Maybe the new game will be better, maybe. I wont know because I dont have any plans on playing it or going out of my way to consume content on it. I have debated just dropping it in its entirety, but then what would I do? Focus in on a bland hot boy dating sim? Or dip my toes in the fucked up mess that is those disgusting “horror” dating games where it’s just rape fetish content every two minutes? Not really my cup of tea that’s for sure.

I’d probably also miss my blog too much, I do love interacting with you guys, but I know my account doesn’t get enough attention that would warrant my existence as anything important in the fandom.

Maybe I’ll just go back to my roots and get back into undertale again.

Random Mc thing I wanted to share

back when I was getting into the game, I went through like fifty different ideas for my Mc. Black short hair with a tomboyish personality, short blue hair and more shy, white hair while being extremely reserved and quiet, until I finally landed on my beautiful fluffy haired girl that embodies kindness itself. I finally settled with her design because I wanted to attempt to humanize that damn sheep, ofc I took some liberties and the only similarity in the end in the insane amount of hair.

But one concept I held on to for a long time was that she wore colored tights with her school uniform, at first they were yellow(for mammon), but then slowly gained more stripes of different colors for each brother she gained a pact with. Until it was striped leggings with colors for each and every sin.

I ditched it because I realized I fucking hates stripes😭

And he’s so caught off guard, that he just completely forgets to put up his whole “eww stupid human” act and just melts into it completely.

I mean chests pressed against chests, his hand cupping the back of their head and his other hand slowly gripping their waist, eventually just moving to wrap an arm around them to hold them closely.

And then he locks in and is super embarrassed about it, but he never forbids them from kissing him, just from kissing him so unexpectedly!

When someone is mischaracterizing a character I really really love in a fanfiction but I can’t say anything because this is only the fourth ever fanfiction I’ve ever seen of said character so I need to be grateful for the attention the character is getting

The fact that villain mammon in the hero and villain story event wasn’t more obsessed with MC

But come on, all I can imagine is him trying to just bribe MC over the whole time either via flirting or gifts.

Putting them in a cell with his brothers plus other characters??? No way! Special super fancy room with silk sheets and band embroidered curtains! He offers them outfits with literal gold and gems sewn into the fabric, shiny jewelry, and promises of literally ANYTHING they could ever want just as long as they ask him.

And if materialistic things aren’t working.

I can imagine tender and quiet begging, him sitting below them with his face pressed against their knees and his hands wrapped loosely around their ankles as he just begs for them. he couldn’t care less about anything else he just wants them and them alone. And by association he just wants to give them anything that will make them happy,(just as long as it doesn’t involve them leaving him of course)
