Things I remind myself daily

You’ve done it before and you can do it again.

You are not the same person you used to be.

Nothing is impossible, so don’t give up on your dreams.

I promise no one even notices or cares about that thing you think they will.

Life is so short, go for it.

You don’t need anyone, don’t let people make you feel like you do.

But appreciate the people you do have that are 100% down for you and there for you.

Be nice to everyone because you never know who needs it.

You will make mistakes it’s fine

Your mistakes aren’t what define you it’s how you deal with them

Don’t do something you don’t want to just to impress someone

It’s ok to be ugly, you don’t have to look good at all times you don’t have to look good ever

Intelligence is attractive

If someone wants to talk to you they will, if they want to be in your life they will

Don’t waste time or energy on people who don’t deserve it

Your best is enough, always

Romantic love isn’t everything

Think before you speak!

Don’t just wait for someone to finish talking, listen!

Appreciate what you have

Material things will never satisfy you

Do shit for yourself and never feel bad for it

How can you expect to be happy if you are constantly talking negatively and thinking negatively?

Give whenever you can because you never know when you’ll be the one in need

Something that frustrates me sometimes is how people make me feel stupid or bad for being so positive. They think I’m so positive because I don’t have problems when really I’ve been working so hard for so long to get to a place where I am happy despite the problems in my life. I was really fucking sad for a really long time and I decided I didn’t want that anymore. To pinpoint an exact date where I realised I was happier and more positive would be impossible but I think things started changing in the fall of last year. Here is a list of some of the things I frequently remind myself and have to remind myself in order to maintain a positive mindset.
