I opened the page and this was my actual irl reaction.

I genuinely cannot put into words how thankful I am for the beautiful fan art.

I had been having a lot of trouble since around spring to continue drawing comics or posting regularly. Actually, I’d always had a problem with that… about Medder’s birthday I ended up sort of scrapping the comic or putting it away for later. I didn’t feel like my art did it justice, or that the story made any sense, or that anyone liked it. I just began to struggle with my personal life, and my artistic life in general. I opened this and was just hit with all these ideas I had for the comic, and how much I loved making it, even if it was small.

So you know what? I’m going to try my best to keep going. Thank you, for helping me realize that.

I've always loved your art style, and it truly inspired me. I was indecisive and going through a creative block, but seeing the genuineness of your work helped me break through it. Your contribution is invaluable to those of us who love art. Many will be encouraged to comment, and others, although more timid, may not express it directly... like I used to. This time I decided to take the plunge and make this fan art, because your art unlocked me.
