Stu so scared that the minute their plan succeeds, Billy won't have "use" for him anymore and move on. And him getting embarrassed when Billy doesn't laugh at his jokes or shenanigans because he's scared that Billy will leave him sooner then he already mentally prepared for.

Billy scared that one day he'll wake up and Stu will be gone. Billy getting nervous whenever Stu does something stupid because he's scared of him somehow dying, and that he'll have to move on alone. But he'd rather Stu die than move on from him because at least if Stus dead, he wont have to worry about Stu forgetting about him.

Billy who feels barbed wire in his throat and tears prickling his eyes, and his face get red whenever Stu lays him down on his bed and starts giving his whole body "goodnight kisses", and patiently but nervously waiting for Stus lips to travel higher and higher until he reaches his mouth while watching Stus form move from under the blanket as he kisses his thighs. Because he wasn't prepared for the reality that Stu doesn't want to leave.

Stu who sits dissociating after a breakdown in the school bathroom or locker room where Billy found him, who took off his jacket and placed it under his head, so his hair didn't get dirty against the tile wall. Who then gently held his face and let Stu look at him and calm down, before asking if he wanted to go to the water fountain. And Stu just crying because he doesn't know how much longer he has to look at Billys face.

Stu and Billy, both I'm bed together and holding each other so tightly. And they both think the other is doing it for obsessiveness and a need for control. But in reality it's because they're scared of letting the other go.

Clara Bow in early two-strip Technicolor footage shot for the introduction of the Paramount Pictures/Clarence G. Badger silent movie Red Hair, 1928. The approximately seventy minute film, the remainder of which was in black and white, is now considered lost, with only the brief color segment surviving and stored in the UCLA Film and Television Archive. This is the only known footage of Clara ever shot in color, capturing her auburn hair on celluloid for posterity.

Billy thinks it's stupid and that he'll hate it until he looks in the mirror and fully pauses as he takes in his appearance

In that moment he feels beautiful

He feels pretty

He enjoys looking beautiful more then he would like to admit

So he immediately makes Stu take the accessories and makeup off him in a sudden panic
