omg her new book

i read the juniper tree by barbara comyns in december and augustus by john williams in april and. actually i dont know i just keep thinking about those two and they’re two of my favorite books i’ve ever read and nothing else is measuring up so that it’s hard to be that into any other books

no one wants to see the odyssey with me 😔 just cause it’s three hours long and bad

i dreamed about my cousins who only exist in dreams and they’ve grown older

#i have real cousins but these are different ones #i like them more than the real ones

about to be staying with my dad for a while and keep being told how inconvenient it is :/ is there something i can do to help you man or do you just want me to know that it’s not ideal to have me there?

went into an antiques store i don’t usually go into because it’s all mid century and pretty high prices and found a bag of beautiful silk yarn for cheap 🫶🏻 two fat skeins of fine japanese silk and four big fingering weight cakes of wool silk blend i can’t wait to have loom access again that fine silk will be so beautiful, it’s all undyed maybe i can do an indigo vat? it would be divine

#it does need a wash it smells not too good #but i don’t think it will be a problem

the binding of this book disintegrated completely after a year of literally just sitting on a shelf in normal conditions :( i have to find out how i can rebind this i havent even read it yet
