Yesterday we observed National Place Card Day™. Yes, it’s a thing. A time to celebrate the many ways we forge meaningful connections through the heart of the gathering and the art of entertaining. The place card is the welcome gesture of intentional gatherings that says, “you matter, you belong and your place at the table awaits you.” We set our tables across the nation in a virtual community of like minded people who entertain with aplomb. It’s in every detail brought to the table, starting with Marian McEvoy's 'Pressed Poppies' illustratedplace cards in our event size. We’re so deeply delighted and mostly honored to have Peter d’Ascoli help us create our table with his beautiful table linen suite: Jahan Table cloth in Black Rose, Banjara Napkin in Grey Rose, Lela Placemat in Black Rose. This rich mix of patterns and textures leaves us feeling “bewitched, bothered & bewildered”. Bravo D’Ascoli!! Your spirit of creativity is ennobled by the traditions you keep alive through the skills of your artisans. You make the world a more beautiful place. #mrpsplacecards #placecards #nationalplacecardday @gustthepoodle #entertainingathome #entertaininginstyle #dinnerparty #tablesetting #tabledecor #tablescape @peterdascoli @dascoli_ #placesettingideas — view on Instagram https://ift.tt/xfHisrj
