Erica wanted to smile at the fact that she was right— that paying attention to Erudite things would eventually come in handy even when she wasn’t in the faction, however her cheeks felt like they were weighted down by cement and the gesture was an internal response. “Well— they’re still working their way in. We’ll have to hurry, but the distraction should be the easiest thing so far.” She stopped twirling her knife to tuck it in her belt, looking up at Eric. Atlas had it easier than what they were doing. “We both take a duffle bag. We fill it with ammo, and we hurry. If we die— at least we fought for it.”
Eric nodded and grabbed the first bags he could find filling them with what they had in their personal aparment. “I think we might have to do some climbing to get to the weapons room without being spotted by them” But he didn’t know the machines as well as he wished he did. He didn’t know how easily they detected humans nor did he know if they had to actually se them or if they were intelligent enough to judge by sound. “Do you know anything about them?”
