Simon is STRONG (He was before mutations but now? Oooh that is one extra strong guy!) so he can so effortlessly lift Grace up even with one arm!♡♡♡♡
Tiny Grace is sooo giddy whenever Simon picks him up ;u; happy giggles and squeaks as he wraps his arms around Simon's neck as Simon carries him around the dome ♡
Simon can tell when Grace wants uppies, he makes those puppy dog eyes towards Simon's arm and gives a little noise xD Simon chuckles, setting down whatever he was working on,goes over to Grace and scoops Grace up.
"Air time kiddo?"
Grace just smiles, nuzzling his face against Simon as he nods. Simon smiles as he starts to walk around the room, a small bounce in his step to further soothe Grace🥺💖💖💖

Cg Stratt&Little Grace💫I’m an absolute sucker for Littles who are taller than their cg, Grace feels absolutely perfect for it. Carl for sure gives Stratt a hand when carrying Grace around the vat, such a clever boy but he is a little no matter what.
Grace is in a constant state of clinging, stage 5 clinger forever. Luckily Stratt doesn’t mind, her little boy can hold onto her for however long he likes.
We’ve had regressor Colt with caregiver Ryland (which I love btw it’s so cute) buuut what about the other way round? 👀👀👀 Ryland regressing and Colt taking care of him,,, his lil bro ueueueueue

I could see Grace regress to a pretty large age range. If I were to give that range, I would say 3- 13. It can be very difficult for Colt to figure it out on his own, so if he can, he makes his brother write it down or at least give him a vague understanding of how he feels.
Colt doesn't really find science fun, but he does try his best to be interested in whatever Ryland has to say about a certain star system, or asteroid, or a fun fact about a planet. He knows that it makes him happy, so why not follow along.
I think little Rylie uses his paci far more often than Colt does when regressed. He has a tendency to chew or scrape with his teeth on anything on his person. It was a really bad habit as a kid. He used to bite his nails, or t-shirt collar, his forearm, the inside of his cheek, his lip. The list goes on. Pacifiers help a ton in this house!
Instead of being active outside like Colt, Grace is active indoors. He loves to do stuff that works his brain. Puzzles, mindfulness colouring, brain teasers and worksheets are the most common. If he finds out a new riddle that he really likes, he'll run up to his older brother and force him to guess the answer.
This little guy loves to be in close proximity to his brother. He likes giving hugs and laying his head on Colt's shoulder. Especially when he's sleepy, he'll be a little more clingy than usual. That's the cue to pick up the little one and carry him to bed.
Tries not to cry way more than his sibbie when regressed. Ryland himself doesn't even know why. Both of them were cry babies growing up, and both of them manned up around the same time in their early teens. There is nothing for him to be scared of if he does cry. They're both trying to make it easier, but it's taking some time.
Little Grace is really particular with his food. He can only stomach certain foods, which mostly consists of stuff that is put in the oven. This works GREAT for Colt, because that's all he's able to make. Rylie is content with having some potato waffles or lasagna for his lunch and dinner. Though he is convinced to have some more healthier stuff too.
I see every single Ryan Gosling character as autistic in some way. You can't back me out of this hole. I'm starting to make that point more prominent.
Lars basically carries his blankie everywhere even when big (pretending he has his tucked in his jacket when he goes to work)
So when he's tiny that blankie is GLUED to Lars! It's clutched in his hand no matter what he's doing (including bathtime, this is a slight problem bc/ he doesn't want blankie wet but he also doesn't want to let it go xD) ;u; and if it's not gripped in his hand it's pressed against his lips and probably mouthed on because he's just a little guuuuy♡
so glad so many other people see the agere ryland grace vision, i thought of it the moment i watched the film and saw the little fox eye mask he has

Heck yeah!! Like, Grace just radiates age regressor energy!!
Like how giddy and childish he gets in the book (he calls the robot the nanny bot, calling Rocky mom when Rocky nags him to sleep, his pouty times, that's a certified LITTLE GUY) And in the film it's amplified to the MAX (his candies, how he basically played with Carl in the hardware store, etc!)
He has the cutestttttt fox onesie eeee! It has watercolour foxs and other woodland animals/themes all over it! And he totally has those onesies that have ears/tails and it's 1000% a fox ;w; 💖💖💖💖💖
thinking about caregiver rocky being so sad when he finds out that grace’s parents either neglected him/left when he was a kid (going off grace having no immediate family line).
having pebbles was a big deal! it was more than just watching them sleep—you had to watch over them constantly because eridians aren’t safe by themselves. pebbles don’t have their hearing fully developed and can’t feel danger coming/protect themselves :(
villages come together on erid to take care of hatchlings, and grace had no one who cared to even watch him sleep.
rocky promises to give pebble grace (as he calls his regressed friend anyway) the love and protection he deserves ^^

Pebbles/hatchlings are so so protected on erid! Parents are given plenty of time off of their thrumming duties/work when their clutch hatches! Even then the villages will help them with anything the new family needs!!! Pebbles are so new to the world, they're so delicate and need the utmost support and care!
So, when Rocky heard Grace say how kinda bounced around foster house to foster house because his parents were more into *certain experiences* than caring about Grace oooooh that has Rocky fuming!
No wonder why Grace said he hadn't needed someone to watch while he sleeps! Grace probably feels that he isn't deserving of the bare minimum of pebble care in Rocky's mind😭
And Rocky will NOT be letting his pebble have a repeat of the bad upbringing he had on earth!! Erid will be softer for Grace, he will have a proper pebble time, he will have lots of love and care, he will feel sooo safe and no harm (physically or emotionally) will be done onto Gracey🥺💖💖💖
Grace loves being picked up no matter how old he is. There have been many times where he's feeling perfectly big but approaches Adrian like 'uppies?'🥺

Oh my goodness, Grace is finishing up teaching class and Rocky n' Adrian have come by to see how Grace was doing/dome stuff. And Grace is chatting about class/the pebbles while making lil grabby hands towards Adrian xD
Rocky giggles as Adrian scoops Grace up and holds him as they walk back to Grace's house.
"Hmm Grace sure Grace not pebble, question?"
Grace shakes his head against Adrian's carapace, "can't a man take a break from the ten trillion steps up to his place?"
"Not ten trillion, only 158 steps."
Grace groans, lightly swinging one foot over to tap against Rocky's body and has the eridian trip a bit.
"Okay okay okay, Grace show Grace not pebble, just annoying today."
Grace chuckles. He can't argue with that.
