Regressor Driver Headcanons

Very very sleepy. Doesn't get much sleep when he's big. He usually stays up working. So when he drops, he needs a long night's rest along with at least one nap (usually two) throughout the day.

Doesn't really play with many toys. He does have a few, but they're more of the 'build it yourself' type of things. He likes to take them apart and put them back together.

I would say fairly young. Three being his oldest age. But heavily leans to the younger side. Maybe one of the youngest regressors on my list?

Nonverbal. Can't speak even if he tried. Doesn't necessarily babble, but does mumble nonsensical words quietly.

Comfort item is a dog stuffie. He always holds it's paw when sleeping. I think the dog breed would be a beagle. Whatever he's doing, it's there with him. It doesn't have a name because he couldn't decide on one. And it makes him just like him!

Yawning! He yawns so much when he's awake. Constantly cries from his eyes being squeezed so often. Sleepy tears.

Doesn't use a paci or teether. Doesn't have a big oral fixation when regressed. He's tried it many times, and it's just not for him. There might be very rare occasions where he does want a paci. Usually when he's super tiny, and can't fall asleep.

Needs to have a paci in his mouth at all times. He gets pretty upset when he doesn't have a pacifier in his mouth. Hell just be really grumpy and fussy. If he can't find a solution, he'll start to cry until something happens

🔭Classification AU doodles

Cg Stratt&Little Grace💫I’m an absolute sucker for Littles who are taller than their cg, Grace feels absolutely perfect for it. Carl for sure gives Stratt a hand when carrying Grace around the vat, such a clever boy but he is a little no matter what.

Grace is in a constant state of clinging, stage 5 clinger forever. Luckily Stratt doesn’t mind, her little boy can hold onto her for however long he likes.

Regressor Lars Lindstrom Headcanons

He's such a little baby! Regresses to about 7 and younger.

Unlike when big, he gets really frustrated with clothes when small. It's a clear indicator on when he's regressing, because he'll be tugging to get all of his layers off. Usually just lays on his bed with some shorts on and nothing else.

Likes being read to. He finds it nice when he doesn't have any responsibilities and someone does something for him. He can just relax and think about nothing when someone else reads him a story.

Even though he's religious when big, he doesn't talk about it much when regressed. He only does what is in his daily routine. He says grace at dinner, and he says a prayer at night.

I think he would be very clingy in the sense that he wants to be in the same room as his carer when they are doing something. Karin is cooking some food? He'll be sitting down at the table, colouring something in. Gus is working on his car? Then Lars will be in a spare chair looking outside at the birds.

He usually does regress for a positive reason. He makes sure that he can do it safely for himself and others around him. But there are bad days. Especially during the first few weeks when Karin found out that she was pregnant. He would have bad nightmares about her being in labour, and her not making it. He would be so small and ask for his mama. It broke everyone's hearts.

Likes to watch cartoons when regressed. He didn't grow up on many, but he does revisit them and just sits on the couch comfortably. The majority of the time though, he puts on something new. He likes the feeling of being blind and unaware of what's already going to happen, kind of like when he watched these shows as a little kid.

I love him so much STAWP!!! I have some caregiver Lars stuff coming in but it might take a bit. He's such a button I want to give him everything in the whole entire world!

The outdoors speaks to him. He will either be inside and look out, or he will go sit on a bench outside. When little, he's scared to go out too far. It was instilled in him when he was younger that he can never go too far without someone there, but even them he refuses to leave out of sight of the house. The birds interest him most. But if Karin or Gus are there, he'll ask about the flowers and trees.

Can we have a conversation about how heartbreaking and amazingly sad the angst potential for a Classification/Littles Are Known AU is within the PHM universe? Especially with stratt as ryland's caregiver?

Like yes, canonically, that is her friend and the fandom is happy to make him her boytoy too, so it's sad that she's betraying him, but think about an AU with me. Stratt as Ryland's caregiver. The betrayal would be soul-crushing.

He wouldn't run from her when the shady doctor threatens to sedate him, he'd run TO her. He's been conditioned for months on the vat to come to her for support, for help, when he's overwhelmed, when he's sad, when he's stressed. She's put the work in to make sure he feels safe enough to do so, because that's her top scientist and she needs him working to his best capacity, so he must take care of himself and that includes his headspace.

He associates her with emotional and physical safety and he trusts her and she knows this. But maybe she'd still been hoping that he wouldn't drop, that he'd agree to go or simply remain outside of headspace so it would be easier for everyone, but he doesn't. What's more stressful than fearing for your life? Of course he drops in that office, of course.

She'd put the work in to make SURE Grace comes to her when he's struggling emotionally, and now, with stone-faced russian guards in the room and a terrifying doctor approaching him with a strange needle and his heart hammering in his throat. Yeah, he's struggling.

Maybe he'd run out of the room once he'd panicked enough and it sank in that Stratt wasn't going to help him, maybe he'd drop so fast he'd just sink into her arms and sob into her neck while they prick him. I don't know, but what I do know is that this would absolutely destroy Grace. It would destroy Stratt and it would destroy Carl, somehow even more so than canon. Infinitely more so than canon, it's amazing.

Like ma'am, that is your baby, you're launching him into SPACE??

Stratt having a hunch that Grace might be regressing while they're working in a group setting but deciding not to say anything to respect Grace.

Cut to the moment they leave and Grace is like 🥺 and Stratts like I knew it.

Stratt tries to tell herself that she's just over thinking. Grown men chewed on pens all the time, especially during tense negotiations/metting with rather high up delegates (of course not as high up as Stratt but, regardless) so, she kept telling her that was exactly what Grace was doing!

Disregarding the fact that Grace was ALSO doing that little rocking motion on his feet while he was explaining things to the group...that was just him stretching his ligaments...yes definitely. He was very much big boy Dr. Grace currently!

Buut the moment the group leaves, Grace looks over at Stratt with those baby blues as he softly whines while tugging at his cardigan. Something only a sleepy Gracey does. She called it.

Stratt softly sighs but theres no heat in it as she pulls the throughly chewed pen from his mouth before she places her hand over his lower back, guiding him to her office so her little boy have a well earned nap while she finished up some emails ♡ (listen, Stratt has her Mama Senses even if she won't admit it)

Stratt not usually being one for physical affection but one time Gracey asks for a goodnight hug and kiss and she can't find it in her to say no.

That's when she realises how touch starved she is. She only eventually let's go when Gracey says 'mama done yet?'

Stratt always has her guard up, she tells herself she doesn't want or need physical contact. It wasn't really something she thought of needing that stuff.

Until tiny Grace that is! She's a push over for tiny Grace, she says she's not but lets be real, if Gracey was sad play doh discontinued a certain colour, Stratt is emailing them and getting that one back for Grace xD

So, when he ask for a goodnight hug n kiss, well, who is she to leave him??

She sits on the edge of the bed and Grace pulls her in, his arms wrapped around her as he curls in with a soft happy noise.

And that's when Stratt's heart clenches, feeling herself melt into the embrace as well. She wraps her arms around him, her lips against the crown of his blond hair, letting herself bask in the moment, feel the squeezing and rooting of the man...she realizes she doesn't want it to end.

Grace definitely is a bit surprised that Mama hasn't pulled away yet, usually her touch was quick, small brushes but this was a really long hug, not that Grace minded, he's a cuddle bug! But he definitely does ask Mama if she was done because he remembered her murmuring about work she had to do.

Stratt pauses for a moment. She ideally would like to stay here for the rest of the evening. But, she slowly unfurles from the embrace, giving Grace one more kiss on the forehead before she leaves.

"Goodnight, Ryland."

Then, as she's leaving the room she softly says, "and thank you."💖

Gracey baby with his quilt, stuffing the corners into his mouth when he’s scared or nervous

So of course, if needs a bath, and… he’s not happy!! Grace can’t cope without his quilt, he feels naked without it!! So Rocky makes the equivalent of a foil blanket to put over Grace whilst quilt is in the wash

!! The corners of the blankie are constantly in his mouth, it soothes him when he's nervous or upset (which is quite often when Grace is that small of a headspace, everything is so much for the little guy!)

Of course, nomming on the blankie means it can get a biiiiit yucky! And that means it needs to be cleaned

And oooh baby Grace does not like that😭 he'll cry, gripping the blanket tight against his chest, shaking his head and sobbing because noooo he doesn't want blankie to go inside the wash!!!

Rocky of course doesn't want Gracey so upset but, the blanket needs a wash so, Rocky whips up some xenonite-y woven fabric, a makeshift blanket that Grace can wrap around himself while they wait♡

Grace looves this blanket too because Rocky made it for him!! Of course not as much as his true blankie but, it's definitely runner-up xD (Rocky is just happy Gracd isn't weepy anymore ♡)
