   She blushed lightly. “Uh– anything but something scary.” Despite knowing what he was she still couldn’t do scary movies.

“Aw, even if I promise to protect you from the boogey man?” he teased with a smile.

“Would you like me to make popcorn, or are you still stuffed from dinner?” Kol asked.

   “Still stuffed.” She told him, moving to the couch, and making room for him. “What are we watching?”

Kol thought. “I haven’t decided yet. What genre do you want?”

She giggled seeing his face. April was now determined to make him watch it with her one day. “Okay.” She said. Watching him get up.

Kol smiled and offered her a hand to help her up, before guiding her into the room with the television.

April squeezed his hand lightly. Smiling happily, as she follow him into the room with the television. Her eyes widening at the couch. It looked almost as comfortable as his bed.

“Would you like me to make popcorn, or are you still stuffed from dinner?” Kol asked.

Kol made a face. “I’ll find something,” he said, finishing his wine before getting up.

April grinned. Loving this. She never had anything like it before, and she planned on enjoying it until he no longer wanted it.

“What would you like to do, darling?” he asked, tilting his head a bit.

She looked down for a moment before finally shrugging. “I don’t know. If I were home I’d probably be writing.” She told him truthfully.

She giggled lightly. Burying her face in his neck. “I know. But I’m just making sure.” She told him softly.

April leaned into his touch with a smile. Turning her head to kiss the palm of his hand. “Promise me when you get hungry you won’t worry about me and you’ll go feed?” She said. Her cheeks red. “You flatter me.” She whispered.

“I promise. I’ll be fine,” he assured her. He gave her one more kiss before motioning for the maid to pour him another glass of wine. “Would you like another, love?”

April shook her head lightly. Asking the maid for some water. “No thank you.” She told him. Linking their hands together.

Kol interlaced their fingers, using his freehand to pick up his glass and sipped his wine. “Would you like to stay here tonight?” he asked.

April returned the kiss caught up in the moment. Moving so she was facing him. Her legs still hanging on his lap. “Y-you want me here?” She asked, blushing lightly. “I don’t want to over stay my welcome Kol.”

Kol smiled, reaching out to stroke her cheek. “I do want you here. Thre is no overstaying your welcome. You can stay as long as you like. I have the big mansion to myself, why not share it with the most gorgeous company possible?” he asked, keeping his eyes on her.

April looked up at him. Enjoying his fingers on her skin. Taking another sip of wine, before taking her last bite of food. “That was delicious.” She hummed contently.

Kol smiled. “I’m glad you enjoyed it, darling,” he said, after finishing his own food. “It’ll be like this every night, as long as you desire to be here,” he said, leaning over and kissed her softly.
