She instantly felt bad she haddent ment to offend the woman she was just in pain. “Look I’m sorry, you are trying to help I just get…moody when in pain. I guess…I’m a witch if that’s what you were asking.” No harm in telling her since she knew hope she supposed.

So she was a witch and while she could tell the girl was still hurt, it meant magic wasn’t working. She wasn’t about to offer the girl her alternative. She wasn’t sure how Alaric and Caroline ran their school, but she knew it wasn’t letting Vampires heal people. “ Well obviously magic isn’t doing you any favors here.”

kol lifted a brow, eyeing his younger sister but decided not to press the subject. “whatever you say, beks.” he teased and then his arms went back at his sides when they pulled away from the embrace. “how about we go to niks and get a few drinks? he always did have the best bourbon, even if he isn’t home we will wait until he arrives.” 

Chuckling as she wrapped her arms around her brother she nodded. “ Sounds like a plan Kol. Where is Davina? I swear you don’t go no where with out her.” She looked up at the male as they began their journey to Nik’s. She was hoping her other brother was therfe because it would be nice to get the family together again.

     “ Yeah, but why not bring me too ? You always go on trips while I stay hope and … I’m 18, so I bought a ticket and packed my bag . “ She pointed at her backpack she had on . “Come on, mom, you’re always telling never hold back on what I want and I wanted to come with you. “ She hugged her back . “Besides, I’m technically going from one small boring town to another. I read about mystic falls on their touristy website . A lot of history to learn here … And you said before this is where you grew up… a thousand years ago. “ She looked at her mom . “Are you going to make me go back? You cant make me go back . You’ll miss me too much …” 

Rebekah sighed as the girl she had raised was one who could out talk her. “ It is not safe for you here Alessa. There are people here, things here that will use you to hurt me and I can’t have that.” It would kill her if anything happened to Alessa. She was already suffering with the fact that she may out live her depending on if she got the cure in time. Seeing the look on her daughters face she knew she wouldn’t be able to send her back. “ Fine, but you do as I say no questioning do I make myself clear.”

“Thanks for the confidence boost…thought I was doing pretty well.” She smiled. Then raised an eyebrow. “ Aquarius on the cusp of Pisces you?” She said sarcastically…she usually wasnt like this but the pain had put her on edge.

So she was a sassy one and Rebekah could understand that. She was as well, but her patients with being nice were running thin. “ Old, and quite done with being nice to people who don’t accept it.”

    “–Well, when you are happily married to the love of your life, what do you think?” She lightly laughed as she hugged rebekah back . “–I haven’t seen you in forever . How are you? How’s marcel ? “ 

When it came to Marcel she didn’t really like to talk about it. It was a touchy subject. “ I don’t know, he left.” She looked away as she thought of the man she had loved so much.

       “I wasn’t sneaking.” Alessa protested innocently . “ It’s hard enough to come up to you, I’m beginning to think you pretended to be scared when I try to scare you on halloween when I was a kid . “ 

Of course, she should have known that her daughter would find a way back. “ Alessa I thought I told you to stay until I got back home.” She shook her head as she moved and wrapped her arms around her. “ What are you doing here?”

It was days ago, she just needed to take her pain meds. “It was the carnival from last week…stuff happened. Lot of us were hurt

Rebekah chuckled as she shook her head. “ You look about as fine as a flower in a fire.” She bent down as she tried to catch a vibe from the girl and see what she was about. “ What are you?”

from hope she knew who rebekah was, as well as their history books that taught on the original family. she took a deep breath when the older blonde placed her hands on her shoulders and did so again while letting her veils begin to draw away from under her eyes. “i really, really want to.” she said, eyes shifting from rebekah to the other.

She knew all to well of what life was like as a new vampire. It was rough and painful and all you wanted to do was drink. “ Just because you want to doesn’t mean you should. Especially in the middle of a town where you can get noticed.” She sighed as she looked around to see who was around. “ How long has it been?”

for a moment she paused, then she shook her head. “no.. it’s ok. i’m not judging. you’ve been kind enough to know about damon and leave him until he grows old, doing that has actually gained my respect for you.” she said and poured a glass for rebekah as well as herself.

Rebekah had one thing on her mind and that was taking the cure. Yet after Alessa and the things that had taken place, she had pushed it back. “ I told you I would. Now he wants to hand it over sooner than that you know where I am.”

“Oh come on, sister. It isn’t like people haven’t come back to life before.” He pointed out with a grin. “Though it did feel pretty permanent, death…” he hadn’t thought too much of what if had been like while he was dead. It was hell, though he deserved it. “How are you, Rebekah?” He hoped she was happy, it’s what she deserved.

She nodded as it was true that people did come back from the dead. Yet his was permanent, it had to be. “ I thought you were gone Nik, we all did.” She wasn’t sure what in the hell was going on but she knew that her brother would get to the bottom of it. “ I’m good Nik, I’m really and truly happy.”

     Davina smiled at her sister in law . “Hardly was sneaking or trying to get you.” The brunette witch was happy to see rebekah . Wondered if she knew anything about marcel given she lost touch with him, herself . “ You coming to town, I would say perfect timing . Hinting on the sarcasm in my voice .” 

Rebekah grinned as Davina came into view. She hadn’t seen the witch in forever and seeing Kol, she knew the other was soon to follow. “ Well if it isn’t the little witch. I thought you  wouldn’t be far from my brother. How are you?” She grinned as she moved to hug the witch.

Olivia couldn’t say she was the best source for information when it came to witchcraft, she didn’t know a lot about them, just the basics and what witches she had befriended throughout the years told her. “I’m sure we can find something.” She nodded her head and looked over a few books, she was proud of the collection she had managed to get through the years. “Alright, you have some here, not a lot though.” She paused, taking three books from the shelf and turning to look at the other. “These three are about resurrection and anything related to it.” 

Looking at the books that Olivia pointed as she grabbed a couple. Pulling them into her arms so that she could go over them and see what she could find. “ Thank you, If you don’t mind me staying back here to go through them that be great.” She didn’t really want to take them back to the house in care Nik or someone else came to see her. The last thing she needed was for them to get into the middle of it.

Sage felt bad for allowing herself to look in pain. She was of course…but that wasnt this strangers problem. “Of course, ill tell her in class…Im fine..Really.”

Rebekah sighed as she looked at the girl and then around. There was no one around them. She wasn’t sure what she could do to help her. “ What happened.”

Sage Smiled up at her softly. “Oh Hope! Gotcha…Im not sure if shes in at the moment but yea she goes here.”

She nodded as Rebekah was very focused on seeing her niece. “ I see, if you see her tell her Aunt Rebekah is looking for her.” She could see the girl was in some sort of pain as she sighed. “ How badly hurt are you?”

Sage was startled to say the least, she almost pulled her stitches when she jumped. “OH!” She breathed. “Sorry…yeah this is the school…Looking for someone?”

Looking down at the girl she seemed rather hurt. She wasn’t sure what flavor supernatural she was, but she didn’t care. “ Yes I am. Hope, Hope Mikaelson.”

Sage was relaxing under a tree on a pile of blankets she had asked one of the younger students to help her bring out so she could enjoy the fresh air after being cooped up for the past few days. She thought the air would do her some good and provide good ambiance for reading. She carefully lounged as to not hurt herself. She had noticed the herbs didnt work as they normally did for wounds, so she would have to heal as a human would…slowly. She cracked open her mothers copy of Hunger games and got to reading. She didnt hear the person approach her.

Rebekah had been looking around seeing what had changed. Taking a breath of air as she texted Alessa to check on her. She was missing her adoptive daughter right now. Seeing someone caught up under a tree with a book she stopped as she looked at her. “ I swear I’m in the right place is the Salvatore school?”

Olivia had been living in Mystic Falls for a few years now, although she only opened the store recently. This place had actually been the one she spent the most time at throughout the centuries and the one she chose to kind of settle down for a little bit. “It’s good to meet you as well, Rebekah.” Her name wasn’t strange to her, she knew she had heard it before somewhere but couldn’t say when or where. “This is what I have.” She told her as she opened a door in the back, that lead to a room with shelves, filled with all types of books on the supernatural. “You’ll find the witchcraft section on that side.” She pointed where with her finger.

Rebekah was hell bent on knowing what had brought all of her loved ones back. She wasn’t complaining that they were here, but she wanted to know. She wanted to know more about this Necromancer, how to kill him. “ Do you have anything on resurrection.” She looked at each spine as she wondered just which one she needed. It would have been a lot better if her sister Freya was here to help her.
