“I’m finally getting used to this life thing again.”
badassbcnbcn:
The witch looked through her paperwork for a moment, considering how much time she would need to grade things before she had some free time before she turned back to the hybrid and gave him her full attention. “Ooh, I don’t know about that. My schedule is pretty packed…” she teased, sitting on the edge of her desk. “But I suppose I could move a couple things around. I mean, Hope is a very special girl with lots of potential. It’s very important we talk about her work,” Bonnie agreed, crooking her finger in his direction, beckoning him closer. “I could maybe squeeze you in this week. Think you could handle that?”
Klaus watched her carefully. “Hmm” he hummed to himself as he watched her look through her papers. At her command he walked closer, eyes still on her. He placed his hands on the desk, on either side of her. “Hm, well my schedule is clear all day. Think you could squeeze me in now?”
badassbcnbcn:
“Considering everything I’ve heard happening since the school’s opening as well as the debauchery that was the Salvatore’s lives here, I’m sure there has been far worse,” she stated, setting down the fire extinguisher in the corner. “Aren’t you glad you send your daughter here with so many outstanding role models?” she asked sarcastically. “At least the parent-teacher conferences are more fun,” Bonnie added, throwing in a wink towards the man before going to her desk.
Klaus tried to hide his little smirk by biting his lip. Never in a million years did Klaus Mikaelson think he and this Bennett witch would ever see eye to eye let alone be friends. Then again the hybrid never thought he would be anything to anyone with the way he had once carried himself. He walked into the room, shutting the door behind him. “Hmm, parent-teacher conferences. Those happen every few months don’t they? Perhaps I’ll be getting a reminder of an upcoming one.”
Bonnie blasted the smoking embers one last time with the fire extinguisher, just to make sure the fire was out. “And that class, is why we don’t mix fire and air magic, especially inside. I don’t care if it is winter. Anyone does that in my class again and I’ll seal your magic for a week,” she warned before waving her hand, making the doors open for her students to leave. Teaching the kids magic at the Salvatore School was fun at times, but they could also be pretty troublesome, thinking they knew more than she did and could do everything. “Don’t worry, they didn’t burn the building down or harm anything. Much.”
“I’m sure Caroline will be glad to know the school is still standing, for one more day at least.” Klaus looked at the smoke that was starting to subside. ”just another day at the Salvatore school?”
the expression magic had only started as a boost to help albie, she would do whatever it took to save her little brother from the pain he was enduring. she needed the edge to make sure she was strong enough to help him and strong enough in the eyes of their father - but somewhere along the way it had become much more than that. she needed it, needed the magic. slowly and bit by bit she had been orchestrating the magic and had just been testing it out by herself in the woods. it was a surge like she had never felt before, knowing that she could protect herself and her family against anything was the only reason she needed to keep doing it. as she was walking away from the area, which thankfully had no evidence of such magic being practiced she looked up when she saw another. “now i thought i was the only creepy one who spent their nights deep in the woods.” humor was always her cover up.
Klaus laughed softly. “I was going for a run.”
thefiercepierce:
“Word of advice, don’t drive him away from her. She’ll end up hating you.” Katherine replied. “Trust me, I speak from experience.”
Klaus nodded. “As long as his intentions are good then I’ll let him live.” Klaus was only half joking.
badassbcnbcn:
“Well who would have guessed that Klaus Mikaelson’s flair for dramatics would have finally left him. Old age finally getting to you?” she asked jokingly. “I find thinking positively around here is just getting yourself ready for disappointment. Dying several times and losing a large portion of the people I loved sort of killed the optimism in me.”
Klaus laughed softly. “I guess dying changes a person.” The hybrid cleared his throat. He knew he had played a role in the Bennett’s life and the lives of her friends. A role that wasn’t very good for quite some time. “I guess I’m just hoping this don’t end the way the last event around here did.”
thefiercepierce:
“I think the last one ended a little terrible for everyone.” Katherine nodded. “She’s probably with her friends, or that new little boyfriend of hers.” It was still so strange to have a normal conversation with Klaus, one that didn’t include threats or schemes.
“Ah well that’s very reassuring.” Klaus knew his daughter was far from little anymore, but considering he missed out on so much he thought of her as his little girl. Perhaps it was just the father in him as well.
badassbcnbcn:
“I thought you always loved to make an entrance though. This should be right down your alley,” she pointed out, glancing over at the hybrid. It had been so long since she’d had to deal with Klaus’s bullshit that compared to the other stuff she had dealt with, she really didn’t hate him as much any more. “So how long do you think the party will last until something terrible happens? I’m going with… two hours.”
Klaus laughed softly. “Making an entrance really isn’t my style anymore. Believe it or not Klaus Mikaelson actually knows how to lay low.” The hybrid sighed. “Let’s think positively huh?”
“Right…. because events in Mystic Falls always go sooo well.” Katherine was only showing up in hopes of spending more time with Nikolai and learning more information that could be helpful in defeating the Necromancer. “I’ll take that, thanks.” She grabbed a drink from a passing youngster and brought it to her lips to sip.
Klaus nodded. “I only came to see if Hope was here. I haven’t seen her lately. Probably going to skip out early given how the last event ended for me.”
“I can’t believe everyone threw this party just for me,” Bonnie stated sarcastically, taking off her sunglasses. “Well, I guess since I sort of surprised people with my arrival, I’ll live with the party not being all about me,” she added with a smile. “I suppose I’ll deal with enjoying the party and drinks.”
“Well, to be fair we all suprised everyone with our arrival too.”
landonely:
🔥 ― Ouch. He didn’t know why it hurt, he was ‘over it’ by now. But there was something about hearing it from him that made it hit different. “Yup,” he said with a nod. “Hope’s friend. Whom you can say hello to whenever you like.” An apologetic air to his words. “Welcome back,” he added, genuinely happy for him and his daughter.
Klaus simply nodded once. He could sense things with this boy and his daughter were still a touchy subject. “Thank you. Nice to see you again, Landon.
“I need to talk to Caroline.. there’s a lot of kids around here who could use some help… werewolf sort of help.” Carter noticed that some of the werewolf students were struggling. As an alpha himself, he knew that he had something he could offer them should the school allow him to help out.
“I haven’t seen her lately.” Klaus said casually. “What sort of help?”
imnotxher:
“Its always something here huh…even after all this time…monsters still…”
“Even more monsters than anyone knew. They were all forgotten.”
itsharrymikaelson:
“Really…nice, whats next mom and dad come back.” He visibly shuddered at the idea.
Klaus clenched his jaw at the thought of their parents returning. “Let’s hope not. If dear old mom and dad show up, I’ll just keep killing them until the necromancer gets the hint and stops bringing them back.”
itsharrymikaelson:
Henrik stared in disbelief.“Tatia…from our village, the girl you and elijah had a thing for? That Tatia?”
Klaus nodded. “She’s back as well. We’ve, uh, sort of picked up where we left off.”
