When it came to Lily Evans, James experienced something he didnât often have to deal with. An inability to form proper sentences. And because of how flustered he felt, how off footing he was around her, he tended to avoid speaking to her as often as possible. But somehow he was always running into her. Sirius made a joke once that it was like magnets, they attracted no matter how often you tried to keep them apart. And here she was again in his line of sight among a bunch of ministry idiots, celebrating something or another at a bar. He straightened his tie before he made his way over, a half smile on his face. âEvans. Fancy meeting you here.â He joked before he leaned on the bartop. âCan a lad buy you a drink?â
