Daddy goes home... May his loving soul continue to rest in peace. Glory be to God for a successful burial ceremony. All thanks to the Almighty for His unending love and faithfulness. 😇

Some time in the 1980s when we were still living in Enugu. I always loved to use Daddy's knees as my "swing" so it wasn't difficult to choose a spot when we had to take this picture. 📷 Mom was standing behind the photographer and telling us to look at the camera. This was long before the other munchkins were born and I was the "reigning last born" (yes, in my family that's a thing). 😁 Notice how Daddy had his arms encircling everyone - that was the kind of father he was. He loved us all and always looked out for us.💖 He knew something about everything.📖 My Dad was a human map - he knew everywhere. My darling Daddy went to be with the Lord yesterday, September 4, 2015. It was devastating but I thank God that he lived a full life. He did all he wanted and maintained a positive outlook on life despite all his challenges. My Daddy will forever be my hero and even with all his imperfections, he proved to be a great parent. I feel so privileged to be his child. May his gentle and loving soul continue to rest in peace... Love you forever Daddy! 😇💕
