Faerie Magick | Heinrich & Oskar

The night was well and truly bleeding into morning now, the faint light from the sun was beginning to make itself known at the edges of the horizon, signalling that Beltane was coming to an end.
Heinrich stumbled, no, strode through the grove — the vampire did not stumble — finding himself slightly disoriented from the effects of the day itself. The mix of magick in the Grove was not helping matters either. He had managed to get himself away from a very seductive demon and was hellbent on heading back to his suite, when pushed through some bushes ahead of him and stepped into a clearing. The air in here felt different and Heinrich could already feel the intensified effect of faerie magick all around him, causing a headiness he was not expecting. He looked around, making sure that there was nobody around to see him in this state, before he sat down heavily in the grass and let out a breath he did not realise he had been holding.
This was not a state Heinrich imagined he would be in by the end of the festivities, but the vampire was well and truly intoxicated and that was putting it lightly.
It was stupid, Oskar knew that. He knew he still had issues controlling his blood lust, knew how bad things had been not so very long ago with the mists but it was precisely for those reasons that he did it. Maybe it was a bit of denial mixed with a lot of nihilism but he just needed a break. Having not been planning to join in the festivities, he had no costume, but he kissed a guard to get his mask and stripped down to his boxer briefs before stepping out onto the grounds and heading straight for the blood bar.
Oskar drank a lot, telling himself he was just making sure he wouldn’t flip out and kill someone and it was a partial truth. Enough of a truth not to be a lie. The last glass he grabbed was spiked with... something but he had no clue with what. Being overly gregarious by nature, Oskar kissed and laughed his way around the grounds, eventually stumbling into the Grove that was replete with magic.
He could taste it on his tongue and it was delicious.
With a rather lascivious groan, Oskar tilted his head up to look at the sky, breathing in the magicked air as if it was necessary for his survival. Stretching his arms over his head, he turned, intent on heading back to the party proper when he noticed a man, sitting only a few feet away, and his eyes widened when he saw his face.
Heinrich.
In his addled state, Oskar didn’t quite put it together that it was obvious for the councilman to be there since he was on the council. Instead, it was some sort of... miracle? Hallucination? He didn’t know and he didn’t care as he moved closer and dropped heavily to his knees in front of his old lover.
“Heinrich!” his smile was genuine though his expression was a bit bleary and he reached out to grab the councilman’s shirt, “Kiss me! Please!”
