a guide to using cases in German, as requested by insertarnombreaqui
I tried to make it as nonthreatening as possible - click the tiles to view them properly, or loathe me if you’re on the mobile app
formation of cases coming tomorrow!
German Grammar:
The Nominative Case
The Nominative case is used for the subject of the sentence.
The subject is the person/thing doing the action shown by the verb.
example: Die Sonne scheint. (The sun shines).
The Nominative case is always used after the verbs sein (to be) and werden (to become).
example: Es ist ein Haus. (It is a house).
Es wird ein Haus. (It will become a house).
