My gift from @wardencommanderoakenshield for @masseffectholidaycheer has arrived (also everyone panicking about customs had me sent to the moon it really was okay and I am absolutely so blown away by how wonderful this gift is ong-)
They went so far above and beyond,
To start, I opened it up and was met with literally every one of my favorite snacks. I’m convinced you live in the walls and know what I snack on because this was so crazy-
I haven’t tried smog balls before and am SO excited to find out if they match my expectation of sour you have NO idea how over the moon I am. The mug is so good, it got opened last but I wanted to put it here first because it made me giggle so hard.
Then I found books, so many books
And I’m not joking I teared up a little at the art book. I have wanted it so terribly for so long, it’s so gorgeous… Studying other artists’ work flow and style is a hobby of mine and I collect art books like no one’s business (staring at my shelf filled with final fantasy art books alone…)
Also all the extra andromeda content for me to read!!!! IM JUMPING OFF THE WALLS LIKE IM ACTUALLY SO STOKED AHHHH
So now I was getting a little emotional, and found the posters and opened the letter. And what do you MEAN there’s another package!!! WHAT!
But, the posters are yet again actually my two faves, Voeld and Havarl, and they are so gorgeous. Jaal is my favorite companion and this really got me in the gut after paging through the art book for a second.
And the stickers are thick dishwasher safe ones! So they’re going on EVERY surface I can find.
As for the letter, you are the sweetest individual and the level of thought you put into all of this. I want you to know I’m sending you so much love and hugs and kisses, and to our fellow reaplings JUST WAIT THERES MORE

I really love Jack a lot too and I feel like people don’t capture or appreciate a softer side of her often. Like she’s a badass but she’s also still just that girl trapped in a Cerberus lab too. She needs a hug…

Thank you!! My favorite characters in the main games are Garrus and Tali, but I also love the entire crew of Me2 SO fucking much. Same with Andromeda, it’s hard to pick a favorite when I really appreciate all of them.
In andromeda I DO have a solid favorite in Jaal, and from the main trilogy I’d see Esmee interacting the most with Garrus and Tali about new ideas he has.
I think the thing that I loved the most was how gorgeous Andromeda was. The sandworm, the driving and exploration, the remnant vaults, I literally will die on the hill that andromeda is a good game. Also my favorite artist wrote the song they used at the end so I’ve always been a bit of a nerd about that. Plus, I just get connected to the characters over and over again. They’re all relatable in some way and I care about what happens to them, and I like inserting my Ryder into every situation I can imagine him in, both for the main trilogy and andromeda.
All of the lore about frankly anything you choose to think about in the game is so in depth, I like going on rabbit holes of reading and coming up feeling so immersed in the universe. And I still have so many questions about the reapers and if they have some connection to the remnant in Andromeda… sighs.
As for snacks, I am a FIEND for sour candies. I don’t think Warheads last long enough lol, and I also love dried berries and fruit (just discovered the dried oranges from Trader Joe’s.) but I also love things that are sweet and savory like jerky!! My favorite chocolate are those drunken cherries in chocolate spheres, I’ll eat them until I can’t any more lol.

I’ve wanted to cosplay him for so long holy shit. I remember the DE cos I made out of cardboard ages ago and this was my redemption for that.
You can’t see them but the jacket has little cat ears. All the clothes are thrifted, the lining was done with a yoga mat, the wig is two long wigs wefted together. It’s super hard to see out of lol.
Even if our con was super disappointing this year, I’m just proud of how this turned out. I’m gonna bring him to sacanime and with an updated chest plate and the belt piece.
