there are otherkin who fully believe they are their kintype/s

there are otherkin who know they are human but believe they are trapped or born in the wrong body

there are otherkin who are otherkin because of mental disorders

there are otherkin who believe in reincarnation and are otherkin because of that

there are otherkin who are otherkin merely because they feel an extremely strong connection with their kintype/s

they are all still otherkin

Therians seem to think they're better than every other kintype. A lot of them (obv not all) act like they're the only valid ones bc they're the only ones that are "sentient life". It really makes me feel like no one cares about the plantkin or spacekin or other kintypes out there that aren't animals.
